When I attended my first music festival as a freshman in college, I was captivated by its charm—“I can’t believe there’s a place this free and this fun.” I share information about wonderful music festivals every day to help grow the community of festival fans.

It’s a music event for entertainment held at Haginochaya Minami Park in Nishinari Ward, Osaka City. It’s called Kamagasaki Sonic, or “Kama-Soni” for short.

The area around Haginochaya in Nishinari Ward, Osaka City is known as Kamagasaki, which is the origin of the event title Kamagasaki Sonic. After a festival that used to be held there ended and people felt its absence, they decided to take action, creating a music festival for workers that has continued since 2012.
