I’m moved by Off the Hook’s (Pearl and Marina’s) powerful vocals! The heavy, weighty rhythm is great, too.
It’s one of the BGM tracks from Splatoon 2’s additional content, Octo Expansion.
It’s jam-packed with Tentacles’ coolness.
The day after tomorrow ColorShiokarāzu

This song, with its bittersweet vibe that can bring you to tears, plays during the Hero Mode ending of Splatoon 2.
When I hear it, the sense of accomplishment from clearing the game and the feelings about the story coming to a close well up in my chest.
It’s one of Splatoon’s most moving tracks.
Seasickgōshokukin

A metal-style BGM with relentless double bass drums! It was distributed as additional BGM after the release of Splatoon 2.
Dried Bonito Shreds is a popular in-game music unit, and to create tension in their tracks, they supposedly never meet face-to-face during production.
The worldbuilding is quite elaborate!
HookedHightide Era

An emotional piano rock piece with a stylish, distinctive sense of chord progressions.
It was featured in a Splatoon commercial and became a hot topic.
The rhythmic yet powerful drums feel great! By the way, Hightide Era is a three-piece band.
Red-Hot EgoistTentakuruzu

This futuristic track features a wavy bass and catchy bleeps that linger in your ears.
It’s the BGM that plays during Splatfests in Splatoon 2.
It makes you want to shoot ink in time with the rhythm! Off the Hook’s vocals are cool and cute!

The lingering electronic tones make for a slightly scary BGM.
It’s used as a stage track in Splatoon 2: Octo Expansion.
You could say it’s an intriguing sound that really amps up the tension while playing.
