Symphonic Starmine is a co-creative live art festival where fireworks and music merge, set on Karasuma Peninsula in Kusatsu City, Shiga Prefecture. Inheriting the legacy of the “Lake Biwa Otsu Night Cruise Fireworks,” it paints a symphony of light and sound along the shores of Lake Biwa. Fireworks synchronize with a wide range of music—from film scores to J-POP—while live performances by Nijiiro Samurai Zuma and Jacob Koller, together with a 1,000-person chorus, illuminate the night sky. Scheduled for May 2026.

Enmachi Music StreetSun, 5/10 – Kyoto Prefecture
Enmachi Music Street is an urban festival that began in 2025 with the aim of energizing Enmachi in Kyoto’s Nishinokyo area and nurturing the music culture budding in the community. With the slogan “On that day, Enmachi becomes a town of sound!”, attendees can wander between venues throughout the city—such as shops and restaurants—and enjoy a wide variety of stages all day long. GAOGAO Dinosaur and Forest Music FestivalNara Prefecture on Sunday, 5/10
This is an interactive outdoor event themed around dinosaurs and music, held at 50,000 Forest Park in Gojo City, Nara Prefecture. The venue will feature a moving dinosaur approximately 4 meters tall, along with a variety of programs such as dinosaur races, DJ performances, magic shows, and live painting.
