Symphonic Starmine is a co-creative live art festival where fireworks and music merge, set on Karasuma Peninsula in Kusatsu City, Shiga Prefecture. Inheriting the legacy of the “Lake Biwa Otsu Night Cruise Fireworks,” it paints a symphony of light and sound along the shores of Lake Biwa. Fireworks synchronize with a wide range of music—from film scores to J-POP—while live performances by Nijiiro Samurai Zuma and Jacob Koller, together with a 1,000-person chorus, illuminate the night sky. This is an interactive outdoor event themed around dinosaurs and music, held at 50,000 Forest Park in Gojo City, Nara Prefecture. The venue will feature a moving dinosaur approximately 4 meters tall, along with a variety of programs such as dinosaur races, DJ performances, magic shows, and live painting. In the nature-rich park dotted with a museum and observatories designed by Tadao Ando, numerous food trucks and cafes will also be on site, allowing families to relax and spend the whole day.
