Masterpieces and popular songs by Sukima Switch
Let me introduce songs by Sukima Switch, the popular male music duo active since 1999.
Speaking of Sukima Switch, Tokita, who plays the piano, used to be especially memorable for his afro hairstyle, but he cut his hair in 2007.
It seems there wasn’t any deep reason—just that maintaining it was a hassle.
Their charm lies in their captivating lyrics and the beautiful harmonies of the two members.
Their songs are so pleasant that you can’t help but get drawn in.

Sukima Switch’s iconic and popular songs (61–70)
All of youSukima Suichi
Just from the title, you might get the impression of “I love everything about you!”, but in reality it’s the opposite.
It’s a breakup song sung from their characteristically sharp perspective.
There are plenty of songs from the dumped person’s side, but ones from the dumper’s side are pretty rare, right? It’s an achingly sad song.
Party! Party!Sukima Suichi

It’s a cheer song included on Sukima Switch’s album “Shinkuukan Algorithm.” It also stuck in my head as the TV commercial song for AOKI Freshers 2018.
Even when you feel you’ve hit your limit, its uplifting lyrics encourage you to push forward from here.
KanadeSukima Suichi

This is a famous song by Sukima Switch that drew attention for its vocal prowess and distinctive musicality.
While many of their tracks are upbeat and energizing, this one is a slow, heartfelt piece.
It also highlights his vocal ability—highly regarded by many artists.
Lovin’ SongSukima Suichi

A song with a warm melody that gently wraps a bittersweet longing for love, leaving a lasting impression.
The love story woven by Sukima Switch is so touching it makes your heart skip a beat.
Released digitally in January 2024 and as a CD single in February, the track gained attention as the theme song for TV Asahi’s Friday Night Drama “Ossan’s Love – Returns.” While incorporating a ’90s sound, the lyrics straightforwardly express the theme of love, resonating deeply.
It’s the perfect song for anyone who wants to convey gratitude and affection to their partner.
Why not listen to it together with someone special and spend a happy, heartwarming time?
10 Channels (Album)Sukima Suichi

Sukima Switch is a male duo consisting of Takuya Ohashi and Shintaro Tokita.
They have a hit song called “Zenryoku Shonen,” which was released as a single from their 2005 album Kuusou Clip.
Their debut work is the album 10 Channel, released in 2000 on an indie label.
The video features one of the tracks from that album, Maykaze.
It’s a refreshing song that makes effective use of strings.
Kigashira, an umbrella, and SundaySukima Suichi

It’s a heartbreak song about a man walking through the city under a clear vinyl umbrella, remembering the days he spent with the girlfriend who left him on a rainy Sunday.
The breakup words came from her, but he says the cause lies with himself—there were so many days they couldn’t meet, and he kept making her endure her loneliness.
It’s a bittersweet song.
