Masterpieces and popular songs by Sukima Switch
Let me introduce songs by Sukima Switch, the popular male music duo active since 1999.
Speaking of Sukima Switch, Tokita, who plays the piano, used to be especially memorable for his afro hairstyle, but he cut his hair in 2007.
It seems there wasn’t any deep reason—just that maintaining it was a hassle.
Their charm lies in their captivating lyrics and the beautiful harmonies of the two members.
Their songs are so pleasant that you can’t help but get drawn in.
Let this playlist make you fall in love with their captivating tracks.

Sukima Switch’s Masterpieces and Popular Songs (21–30)
SL9Sukima Suichi

A song with a simple arrangement that feels driven by synth leads and drums.
The lyrics paint a beautifully vivid picture of a starlit sky, and the thickly layered textures and phrases in the chorus deliver an overwhelming sense of exhilaration, even at a midtempo pace.
Ah Yeah!!Sukima Suichi

A tie-in with the anime Haikyu!!.
Despite the title, it’s not the kind of song where you shout “Yay!”—the orchestral drive is what really feels exhilarating.
The best way to enjoy this track is by watching the two members of Sukima Switch ride one thrill ride after another in the music video.
Sukima Switch’s Classic and Popular Songs (31–40)
viewSukima Suichi

Sukima Switch’s major-label debut single.
An upbeat tune with Ohashi’s vocals cutting with a sharp edge.
Even though this song marked their debut, the music video features a scene where the two of them get into a fight (not a real one, of course)! It still makes me nervous to watch.
Full-Power BoySukima Suichi

One of the most popular and upbeat songs from their early period.
It was recently used in a commercial again.
Listening closely, it’s actually mid-tempo with a sparse arrangement, yet it achieves that pop impression—making it a perfect track to showcase Sukima Switch’s impressive arranging skills.
Goodbye EscapeNEW!Sukima Suichi

In the Mynavi Job Change commercial “Move Forward” featuring Satomi Ishihara, the story follows her from starting her job search to receiving an offer, joining the company, and working at her new workplace.
In the ad, Ishihara says she doesn’t yet know whether this career change will be a success, but expresses a positive view that the will to change is what moves the future.
It’s a commercial that can give courage to those who are unsure about changing jobs to take that first step.
The BGM is Sukima Switch’s “Sayonara Escape,” released in 2017—a song that seems to give you a push to believe in your potential and move forward with ambition.

Sukima Switch is a music duo known for classic hits like “Zenryoku Shounen” and “Kanade.” This song, included as the lead track on their November 2021 release Hot Milk, is a newly written piece centered on the theme of an anthem of encouragement.
Its fast-paced band sound and lyrics about breaking free from stagnation and moving forward gently give listeners a push.
Starting in fiscal 2023, the track was adopted as the theme song for Funabashi Keiba and has been used in concept videos and commercials.
Furthermore, from fiscal 2024, an instrumental version has also been used as the main track for the horses’ entrance onto the course at Funabashi Racecourse.
It’s a song with a driving energy perfectly suited to the exhilaration before a race.
Not only for horse racing fans, it’s a pop tune we hope you’ll listen to when you want to take a new step or shift into a higher gear.
Full-Power Boy produced by Tamio OkudaSukima Suichi

It’s the opening song for ALL OUT!!.
It’s a deluxe track with Tamio Okuda producing Sukima Switch’s “Zenryoku Shonen.” “Zenryoku Shonen” is a song that gives a lot of energy to people who are working hard at sports and many other things.
