Classic Western hip-hop tracks recommended for summer (61–70)
First ClassJack Harlow

One of the rappers representing white rappers, Jack Harlow.
In hip-hop, white artists tend not to be evaluated from a completely neutral perspective, but Jack Harlow has earned props from many Black listeners as well.
Among his works, the one I especially recommend for summer is First Class.
It’s a high-level track that lays skillful rhymes and flows over a simple beat.
It has a cool, refreshing vibe, making it perfect for the summer, don’t you think?
Me And My Crazy WorldLost Boyz

Lost Boyz, a hip-hop group from New York, USA.
Their 1997 release “Me and My Crazy World” is a supreme number whose groovy rap instantly cranks up the excitement for summer.
At the same time, the track has an interesting twist, featuring strings and synth tones that sparkle like glass beads.
The quirky, story-driven music video—so characteristic of the ’90s—is also worth checking out, so why not watch it together with the song?
Growing PainsLudacris

The Illinois-born rapper Ludacris is also active as an actor and appears as a main cast member in the popular car-action film series The Fast and the Furious.
Many of you may already know him.
Among his classic tracks, the one I recommend for summer is Growing Pains.
It’s a song from his 2001 album Word of Mouf and remains popular among heads even today.
With its chill production, it’s perfect for summer evenings.
Kick PushLupe Fiasco

Kick Push is a classic packed with Chicago rapper Lupe Fiasco’s love for skateboarding.
Over a catchy, cool track, he delivers smooth flow and delivery while firing off lyrics that serve as a kind of antithesis to the anti-skate crowd that treats skaters like troublemakers.
The lyrics also highlight the appeal of skating.
The melody glides as smoothly as skating itself, making it perfect for a sunny, clear day.
Slut Me Out 2 (Country Me Out)NLE Choppa

NLE Choppa’s new song is making waves with its bold attempt to fuse country and hip-hop.
The Memphis, Tennessee rapper lays his distinctive flow over a country-tinged melody, showcasing real musical adventurousness.
Released in August 2024, the track has also drawn attention as a follow-up to one of Choppa’s popular hits.
The lyrics skillfully blend street vibes with country elements, making it perfect for listeners seeking a fresh musical experience.
Be sure to check out this energetic track that’s sure to blow away the summer heat!
