Gentle CometYOASOBI

Since the overall vocal range is C4–F5, one of my male voice-training students sang it an octave lower! The rhythm is steady and the melody is easy to follow, so it might be just right for women to sing in the original key and for men to sing an octave down.
When singing, the key is to avoid belting and base your voice on falsetto.
If you’re not used to high notes, practice humming.
If you hum using your throat, your singing voice will also stay throaty, so use more breath than you think and hum lightly.
I want you to take in a lot of air through your mouth, but if your chest expands when you inhale, it becomes chest breathing and creates tension.
Relax your shoulders and let the breath go into your abdomen instead.
After that, lightly hold your breath for a moment to prepare, then hum gently—this makes it easier to grasp the right sensation!
To You at DawnTomei

Singer-songwriter Tomei, who quickly drew widespread attention after collaborating with Kenshi Yonezu.
She’s known for her wide-ranging musicality, from rock-tinged tracks and R&B-flavored pop to a languid, Teshima Aoi–like mood.
Her new song is “To You at Dawn.” While the high notes stand out, the piece is sung throughout in a whispery, breathy voice, so it’s much easier to perform than it sounds.
It should be no problem for a typical teenage female voice.
Night journeyYorushika

Yorushika’s “Yako” is a song that’s easy for teenage girls to enjoy.
Released in March 2020, this track is also known as an insert song for the animated film A Whisker Away.
It starts with a calm intro and then surges in the chorus, which is part of its appeal, and it’s manageable to sing even if you’re not confident about your vocal power.
The key is on the lower side, so those who struggle with high notes can take it on with ease.
Make it a memorable karaoke time!
SoulmateYuika

Yuika’s song, which portrays the pain of heartbreak and the possibility of new love, is sure to resonate deeply with teenage girls.
Its delicate lyrics and gentle melody tenderly embrace those who have experienced a broken heart.
Released in October 2023, the track was also used as an insert song for the anime “Koisuru Shūmatsu ♡ Homestay 2024 Fuyu” (Love-Filled Weekend ♡ Homestay 2024 Winter).
With a relatively simple melody line and a narrow vocal range, it’s perfect for karaoke.
It’s a recommended song not only for teenage girls struggling with love, but also for anyone hoping to overcome heartbreak.
The one who is crying issatou

Sato is a female singer-songwriter whose sentimental vocals have garnered overwhelming support from teenage girls.
Many of you reading this probably enjoy her acoustic performances as well.
Among her songs, the one I especially recommend is “Naiteru no wa” (“The One Who’s Crying”).
It features a quiet arrangement with sentimental vocals, yet the vocal line itself is simple and easy to sing, making it a great pick.
If you’re confident in your expressive abilities, definitely give it a try.
Ref:rain -3 nuits ver.-Aimer

Aimer is a female singer-songwriter loved by a wide range of generations, and she’s certainly a popular artist among teenage girls as well.
Among her works, the one I especially recommend is “Ref:rain -3 nuits ver.-.” This piece is arranged as a gentle ballad, so there aren’t any abrupt jumps in pitch, making the overall vocal line easy to sing.
While it does feature many high notes, they aren’t extremely high, so be sure to give it a listen.
UNOMADEIN

Recent K-pop groups and multinational groups tend to have many songs with such high-performance demands that they’re hard to sing.
I imagine many teenage girls feel frustrated because they want to sing K-pop-style tracks but can’t.
That’s why I recommend UNO by the multinational group MADEIN.
It’s a stylish and cute piece in true K-pop fashion, but it has a narrow vocal range and no particularly difficult parts.
As long as you keep your pitch steady, it’s easy to sing and can even earn you a high karaoke score.
