Today’s Recommendations! K-pop Songs (11–20)
NIGHT DANCERimase

Amid the rising popularity of J-POP since around 2022, this might well be one of the standout smash hits.
It spread rapidly through TikTok dance challenges—now essential to modern music trends—with participation from popular groups like IVE and Stray Kids, making it beloved by a wide audience.
It was also shocking to see it become the first J-POP song to rank on Korea’s important Melon Top 100 chart.
The laid-back, ennui-tinged vocals and melodies are easy to listen to and offer a different kind of addictive appeal from K-POP.
Its message of enjoying the night freely perfectly captures the allure of music.
Nice GuyBOYNEXTDOOR

This is a pop number released in September 2024 by the six-member Korean boy group BOYNEXTDOOR.
Its rhythm and melody, which embrace each other like an affectionate couple, are striking.
The lyrics, filled with optimism, reflect the feelings of young people stepping onto a new stage in life.
Produced by Zico of KOZ Entertainment, with the members also participating in writing and composition.
In the music video, the members are shown working at a pizza shop, conveying a bright and energetic vibe.
It’s a song that will surely give you a boost when you want to feel confident or take a new step forward.
Soda PopSaja Boys

This is a track by the group Saja Boys from the Netflix animated film “KPOP Girls! Demon Hunters.” Though fictional, they’ve been stirring up the real music scene—ranking on U.S.
music charts by July 2025.
At first listen, it’s a classic idol song with the fizz and freshness of popping soda! But the lyrics aren’t a sweet love song; they actually express the very desires of their true identities: demons that devour souls.
That duality—the sparkling idol façade and the dark nature hidden beneath—really grabs you, doesn’t it? You might just get hooked on the sweet melody of this piece, the “first trap” in the story.
WICKEDALLDAY PROJECT

An exhilarating sound that breaks down genre barriers is the appeal! This is the debut work from the co-ed group ALLDAY PROJECT.
They’ve also made waves for their uniquely varied members—ranging from a chaebol heiress and an international dancer to a popular rapper.
This track blends Brazilian funk and trap, infused with the bite and provocative confidence that lurk behind a glamorous world.
Included on their single album “FAMOUS,” released in June 2025, the group clinched first place on a music show just 10 days after debut! Put it on when you want a boost and a shot of confidence—it’ll push you to think, “I’ll be the me no one can copy!”
Hide-and-seekPLAVE

This is the highly anticipated first Japanese single from PLAVE, a Korean virtual group that debuted in 2023.
Despite being a Japanese-language track, it’s taken Korean music charts by storm and garnered major attention.
The sound blends K-POP’s energetic dance vibes with classic pop elements, making it irresistibly uplifting.
The title “Kakurenbo” (Hide-and-Seek) hints at the push-and-pull of romance and the heartfelt wish to be found—feelings that are impossible not to relate to.
Their emotive vocals and performances, as compelling as those of a real-life group, are truly moving.
후라이의 꿈(Fry’s Dream)AKMU (Akdong Musician)

Akdong Musician’s 2023 comeback “Love Lee,” their first in two years, was a big hit.
This is the B-side included on that single.
If you listen to it alongside the lyric video’s laid-back egg animation, the cuteness doubles.
Perfect for when you want to go with the flow or slow down a bit.
Amazingly, this song was produced by the older brother, Lee Chan-hyuk, and was performed with IU at a concert in 2014.
AkMu delivering playful, message-filled songs like this—so wonderful.

It’s a song from the dance survival show Street Woman Fighter Season 2, which has become a social phenomenon, and it’s spreading on social media as a dance challenge.
Many K-pop idols, including BTS’s V, have joined in and boosted the hype.
