Today’s Recommendations! K-pop Songs (11–20)
Turn Around (Let me Love)UNICODE

A poppy medium-tempo number released in July 2024.
Although UNICODE is a group made up of Japanese members, they’re a reverse-import act operating out of South Korea.
This track is actually the Japanese version of a song that was released in Korea.
It was also selected as the ending theme for TV Tokyo’s music program “Cho Onpa,” boosting its visibility.
Blending retro city-pop elements, the sound highlights each member’s unique charm.
The lyrics portray the complexities of romance and human relationships in a way that many can relate to.
It’s a perfect song for a mood boost or as a companion on a drive.
In BloomZEROBASEONE

ZEROBASEONE is a nine-member boy group selected through the Korean survival audition program BOYS PLANET.
They are a multinational group composed of six Koreans, two Chinese members, and one Canadian.
In Bloom is a refreshing pop track that showcases each member’s individuality to the fullest.
While the track features a straightforward structure emblematic of classic K-pop, the members’ diverse vocal timbres keep it engaging from start to finish.
사건의 지평선윤하(YOUNHA)

A singer-songwriter, Younha, who debuted in Japan before her home country, released this number in 2022 and it became a major hit.
It seems the song spread after being performed at a school festival, helped by the track’s inherent brilliance.
Among recent K-pop, I think this is an especially approachable, song-driven piece.
Carrying beautiful memories in your heart while moving forward into new days—the message is emotional.
It’s a tune that many people can relate to and enjoy together.
Its bright image and gentle tone also seem perfect for warming up the atmosphere at karaoke!
Tinker BellAPRIL

Released in April 2016, this song drew attention as April’s Japanese debut track.
It’s a pop song packed with the charm of the six-member girl group from Korea, evoking springtime hope and fluttering excitement with its cute vibe.
The bouncy chorus melody and the members’ adorableness are enough to bring a smile to your face just by listening.
It awakens a sense of adventure and conveys a desire to leap into the unknown—positively fairy-like.
It portrays the sparkle of youth overflowing with energy, and the growth that comes through encounters and partings.
On a spring day when you want to feel a fresh start, take along this sparkling, radiant work from April!
Welcome to the ShowDAY6

A four-member rock band from South Korea, DAY6 has released a new song with the full lineup for the first time in about three years.
It’s a track from their 8th mini-album, “Fourever,” released in March 2024.
Incorporating elements of post-Britpop and progressive house, the song expresses gratitude and determination toward those who stand with us on the grand stage of life—thankfulness for the one who chose you, and the resolve to overcome an uncertain future.
Actors Yoo Seung-ho and Choi Hee-jin appear in the music video, enhancing its narrative feel.
It’s an uplifting piece with DAY6’s signature heart-stirring melodies and a warm message.
