Go Down DehSpice, Sean Paul, Shaggy

Sean Paul, a reggae singer with worldwide popularity, doesn’t just stick to straight reggae—he also releases tracks that incorporate reggaeton and soca, and more recently deep house and hip-hop.
One such work is “Go Down Deh,” a collaboration with reggae heavyweights Shaggy and Spice.
It’s dancehall with elements of hip-hop trap.
If you want to dance some cool reggae moves, this is a must-check!
While listening to reggaeTAKAFIN

TAKAFIN, a member of MIGHTY JAM ROCK, one of Japan’s leading dancehall groups.
As part of the so-called Red Spider generation, he has kept energizing the reggae scene up to the present day.
His song “Reggae demo Kikinagara” (“While Listening to Reggae”) is one of his hits, and—as the title suggests—it carries the message, “Let’s calm down by listening to reggae,” in the face of the sadness and hardship we inevitably run into in life.
This dub version runs at a higher voltage than the original, so it’s also recommended as a hype-up/cheer song.
PumPum Shop (Prod by Gacha Medz)ZendaMan

ZendaMan is a deejay active in Jamaica, the home of reggae.
He’s also active on YouTube, where he always shows lively banter with his mentor, Rokkong.
Among ZendaMan’s tracks, the one I especially recommend is “PumPum Shop (Prod by Gacha Medz).” It’s a modern dancehall piece with a polished, authentic sound where you can savor a Latin trap-style flow.
Motherkariyushi 58

Kariyushi58 is a Japanese indie band that became a nationwide hit.
They’re an indie band from Okinawa known for “Anma.” The original song is a pop track with a strikingly passionate melody, but this version adds a laid-back 1980s reggae-style arrangement.
In addition to the excellent riddim by Takashi Komori and the mix by Mitsuhiro Ueyama, the band’s innate compatibility with reggae shines through, resulting in a very authentic production.
RAGGAMUFFIN LIFEFurankī Parisu

When it comes to Japanese reggae, many artists are influenced by Jamaica.
In contrast, Frankie Paris draws her inspiration from British reggae.
As a result, her music tends to lean less toward hard-hitting dancehall and more toward a stylish, refined sound.
Among her works, the track I especially recommend for reggae dance is “RAGGAMUFFIN LIFE.” Despite its tough-sounding title, it’s crafted into a languid, gentle reggae tune.
I AM RAGGAMUFFINRagarabo MUSIQ

Ragalabo MUSIQ is one of Japan’s leading reggae groups.
Their sound is catchy yet still lets you feel that gritty, hard-hitting raggamuffin vibe—quite striking, isn’t it? Among their releases, the track we especially recommend for reggae dance is “I AM RAGGAMUFFIN.” It’s a song with fiery vibes that truly embody classic raggamuffin.
If you’re looking to go hard with intense reggae dance, be sure to check it out.

Endless SummerKotobukikun

These days, Toshikuni, a DJ who’s also gaining popularity in the MC battle scene, is known for his wide-ranging style—from catchy love songs and party tunes to hard-hitting ragga.
He’s got many charms, but isn’t his biggest draw those high-vibe, fiery tracks? Among his works, “Endless Summer” is especially perfect for reggae dance.
Its sound, packed with the fun memories of summer, leaves a strong impression.
