Band-sound Vocaloid Song Special [Rock]

We call making music on a computer “DTM,” but that doesn’t only refer to electronic music with programmed synths.

You can use various sound sources or record live instruments, and before you know it, you can complete a full band sound right inside your computer.

So in this article, I’d like to introduce Vocaloid songs that focus on band-style sound!

They’re all wonderful tracks!

I’m sure you’ll find a new favorite.

Band-Sound Vocaloid Song Special [Rock] (91–100)

Although it’s a rock-style song, the synthetic keyboard in the intro heightens the sense of mystery.

After the first chorus, the guitar works well either with cutting or tapping.

In section B, keep it crisp and snappy.

The break before the final chorus is where the lead truly shines.

I Want to Stop Thinking – Usushio Shisū feat. Kasane Teto SV / Boku wa Kangaeru no o Yametai

This work vividly captures the ennui of contemporary society.

It’s a track by Vocaloid producer Usushio Index, released in September 2024.

A scattered, chaotic mind is portrayed through a catchy alternative rock sound and laid-back lyrics.

It’s cute and wildly relatable.

The distinctive voice of Kasane Teto meshes perfectly with the sharp guitar riffs, grabbing the listener’s heart.

It’ll especially hit home when you’re worn out from work or play.

Let music lend you its power and help you forget everything for a while!

[Hatsune Miku] memory [Original with PV]

This song reminds me that the dreams I had when I was little were dazzling and full of hope.

In the parts where the lyrics sound like an outpouring of emotion, there’s use of death growls and expressions of breathlessness, making me feel like Miku’s singing voice is alive.

[Hatsune Miku] Watercolor Rough [PV]

A song where Miku’s matter-of-fact vocals pair perfectly with the languid guitar.

Even though the chorus is just six characters shouted out, it strangely sticks in your head.

The mechanically pulsing synthesizer, almost like a substitute for a guitar solo, seems to make the song all the more heartrending.

Perhaps because of Miku’s somewhat self-deprecating, languid vocals, this is a song I want to listen to during those melancholy twilights when I just sit in my room and gaze absentmindedly out the window.

If you watch the PV while comparing it with the lyrics, the final line is suggestive.

It’s interesting just to think about the possible interpretations.

Fantasy Paletteyucha

A song with a sense of speed that slices through the wind and a refreshing exhilaration.

Even though the sound is simple, the lyrics pierce straight into the heart—something only Rin can achieve, delivering the song’s world with her powerful voice.

Since the song progresses at almost the same timing and speed throughout, be sure to keep steady rhythm, and to avoid dragging, aim for crisp articulation in your picking.

Beyond its dreamy, gentle lyrics, the bell-like melody that flows in the chorus is also beautiful—it’s a wonderful piece.
