This time, I’m going to introduce some Vocaloid dance tunes!
In many MVs, you’ll see Vocaloid characters dancing, and there are even dances like wotagei.
These days, there are even dance battles held to Vocaloid tracks, and Vocaloid is treated as dance music.
I’ll be showcasing a bunch of Vocaloid songs that let you ride the beat and enjoy dancing!
Depending on the song, there may be official choreography, and many tracks have original routines with “Odotte Mita” (I tried dancing) posts—so be sure to check them out and give it a try!

The relentless surge of electronic sounds is overwhelming in the best way.
When we think of “Japanese-style” tracks, we tend to imagine a retro vibe, but this is nothing like that.
It feels like it would fit right in at a club or outdoor festival.
BUG POP!PLANET 80i
A pop electric tune that blends freshness with nostalgia.
It’s a work released under the name PLANET 80i by Tatsugoo, who is active as a professional composer and music producer, and it premiered in March 2023.
It was an entry in the Rookie Ranking of VOCALOID Collection Spring 2023.
In the music genre known as New Retrowave, its sound and the MV’s charmingly classic sci-fi vibe are truly wonderful.
I especially hope people who feel “Vocaloid is for the younger generation” will give it a listen.

Add this to your playlist for when you want a boost or to get hyped! The high-energy track “Buttonde Ike!” by Vocaloid producer Ponchi♪ was released in June 2023.

Hatsune Miku,” and became a hot topic.
Its danceable groove will get you absolutely hyped! The mid-track shift to a jazzy arrangement is also striking.
It’s a lively Vocaloid track that showcases Rulmry’s wide musical range and sparkling sense of style!
On the Brinkn.k
This is an uplifting, vertically grooving, Japanese-style electronic dance tune! Created by the popular Vocaloid producer n.k, known for numerous hit songs such as “This Wretched, Wonderful World Exists for Me,” it was released in March 2023.
The lyrics, which satirize human society, are exhilarating and match perfectly with the upbeat vibe of the track.
The catchy vocal melody is irresistibly singable, too.

It’s a track by Vocaloid producer Suzie, released in January 2025.
Riding on an energetic beat, the music powerfully weaves a passion for taking on challenges.
The drive to push past your limits feels incredibly relatable—you can’t help but map it onto your own life as you listen.
When you want to give your all toward a goal, this song is sure to give you a push.
dolphin kickwotaku
It’s an upbeat summer tune that bursts open like a big, blooming flower! The song is by Vocaloid producer wotaku and was released in 2022.
If you’re familiar with wotaku’s work, you might have been surprised when you heard it—since they’ve released so many dark tracks, who would’ve thought they could nail such a cute summer song too? I’m in awe of their wide-ranging songwriting skills.
That said, the hardcore interlude is classic wotaku.
It’s the kind of track that’ll hype you up anytime, not just in summer!
