I will teach you how to commit the perfect crime.jorujin

It’s a Vocaloid song that’s so scary you can’t take your ears—or eyes—off it.

Created by the Vocaloid producer Jorujin, also known under the name Ankoku Dowa-P (Dark Fairy Tale P), it was released in March 2023.

The lyrics are based on a trick featured in Soji Shimada’s novel The Tokyo Zodiac Murders, and… well, the content is quite violent, and revealing more would be a spoiler, so I can’t go into detail here.

Even the ominous title is intriguing, and I encourage you to uncover the truth for yourself.

If you’re a fan of detective fiction, this will definitely hit the mark!

Prisoner of Lust and DesireHitoshizuku P × Yama △

A Vocaloid song whose lyrics depict a world of forbidden love and desire.

It tells the story of a man who falls in love with a woman whom everyone she loves ends up dying.

Is the cause a curse, or something else? The shocking ending will surely leave you stunned.

Despite the catchy melody, it feels like watching a horror movie.

It’s addictive, so please give it a listen.

sludgyNEW!ive

“1 Child y Dog,” which carries a bottomless, swamp-like heaviness.

A work by Vocaloid producer ive, released in January 2026.

The video was produced by Toasu.

Sung in Kaai Yuki’s innocent, childlike voice, the lyrics weave depictions of domination and submission.

True to the title, the cruel worldview is delivered matter-of-factly over a viscous, sludgy soundscape—sending chills down your spine.

Cute yet scary…

You might not be able to escape this world once you fall in.

This song by Vocaloid producer Pepoyo—known for downer-leaning works like “Easy Euthanasia” and “Dear Sir/Madam”—was released in 2022 and participated in the Top 100 ranking of BokaColle 2022 Autumn.

It’s hard to spell out the content here, but the lyrics hit you deep in the gut.

And the way Pepoyo wraps it all up in something cute and pop—masterful, as expected.

This is the very definition of a ‘swamp’ you sink into.

Zody’s Codejorujin

It’s a work steeped in an unsettling atmosphere—irresistible for lovers of deep analysis.

Zodee’s Code, produced by Vocaloid creator Jorjin, was released in January 2026.

Made as the third installment of the “Serial Killer Series,” it draws on real unsolved cases and is peppered with ciphers and thrilling gimmicks throughout.

With Fukase’s voice resonating in a cool, detached tone, the lyrics’ manifesto-like criminal message stands out all the more.

If you enjoy mysteries and suspense, you’ll almost certainly get hooked.

Nemesiavictream

The title “Nemesia” is the name of a flower.

I think it captures the aimless fear and sense of despair felt during adolescence very well.

Even if you fail, you can stand up again—you can bloom again; it’s as if you can hear that cry.

It’s a song I especially recommend to the younger generation, and to you who are a student right now.
