Vocaloid Halloween Song Special [Trick or Treat] (71–80)
Yuyu Beatn.k

If you’re planning to perform songs or dances at a Halloween party, we highly recommend “Yuyu Beat.” Created in 2021 by Vocaloid producer n.k music, it portrays a bittersweet, unresolved longing for reality, and its repeating chorus phrase is irresistibly catchy.
It would be fun to come up with original choreography to match the danceable beat.
The melodious atmosphere highlighted by Hatsune Miku’s soft, airy vocals is also striking.
How about delivering your performance in costumes themed around ghosts or yokai?
Hyakki Yagyo Harenchika ~All Night~chikarutofu

A Vocaloid party tune by Chikaru Tofu.
You’ll be blown away by the grand harmony woven by ten Vocaloids within a single track.
Originally released in 2021, this is a rearranged version.
The lyrics are told from the perspective of spirits who have returned from hell, and the cheerful mood is infectious enough to make you smile.
The sound, which incorporates a variety of genres such as EDM and jazz, is another highlight.
Highly recommended for listening while strolling through the city at night.
Enfant terrible in Halloweenparticles (te-ni-wo-ha)

This is Teniwoha’s Halloween song, “Enfant Terrible in Halloween.” The country-style guitar solo is awesome.
Recommended if you like songs with rapidly shifting sections.
It really amps up the Halloween mood.
It was released in 2010.
Zombie Hunter in HalloweenPiropon vinegar

An unusual combination of VOCALOID voices—GUMI and Kaai Yuki.
The dark, stylish worldbuilding is wonderful.
The bustling, noisy sound is interesting too.
The complex song structure keeps it from getting boring.
It was released in 2012.
PiñataYurame

For those who like stylish tracks, I also recommend “Piñata.” This song was created by Yurame, also known as Merengue-P.
It depicts negative emotions building up and finally exploding, intertwined with a Halloween theme.
It has a horror-like vibe, but it’s more about coolness than fear.
Unique ideas, like incorporating the sound of tap dancing in the interlude, make it even more enjoyable.
Incidentally, a piñata is a papier-mâché container used in festivals in Central and South America.
Halloween Rampage SongSousai

This is GUMI’s Halloween metal song.
True to metal, it even features the obligatory guitar solo, giving it a very straightforward and easy-to-listen-to feel.
It suits GUMI’s vocal timbre very well.
The ending is unexpectedly good, too.
It was released in 2012.
A word ghost is watching from the window.Frokuro

Speaking of songs that make the most of uniquely Japanese wordplay, there’s “The Word Ghost Is Looking Through the Window,” produced by Vocaloid creator Flocklo in 2020.
Over a metallic sound that incorporates trap beats, Kasane Teto delivers a careful, note-by-note vocal performance.
The song also features lines with a philosophical bent that seem to carry a touch of irony—well worth paying attention to.
With rhymes and even shiritori-style chaining, you’ll discover something new with each listen.
It’s a Vocaloid track where Japanesque, ghost-themed lyrics intertwine with a thrilling sound.
