Akari has arrived!GYARI

It’s a catchy song that’s a bit different from what people usually call “addictive.” Most of the lyrics don’t carry meaning; many parts are built from onomatopoeia and brief spoken lines.

So why is such a song considered a masterpiece? The answer lies in its outstanding tempo and rhythm, and the rich sound created by a variety of instruments.

After you finish listening, you’ll find your mouth or hands unconsciously tapping out the beat—such is this track.

An immersive work where animation and music are inseparably intertwined.

This piece, which opened Vocaloid producer Harumaki Gohan’s series “Big Sister Pretend,” was released in January 2026.

The story unfolds through motifs such as one’s own shadow and mirror image.

The experience of visuals and sound linking perfectly will give you chills.

From the intro, it’s downright upbeat! It’s a Vocaloid track I highly recommend when you want to boost your energy.

Released in 2016 under one of Vocaloid producer Carlos Hakamada’s aliases, Dynamic Jienzu.

Everything—the sound, lyrics, melody, and PV—is high tension all the way.

When you’re tired or feeling down, listening to it might just blow everything away… it’s a number overflowing with that kind of energy.

And the call-and-response between Hatsune Miku and Otomachi Una is adorable.

A masterpiece where the scenery you glimpse changes just a little each time you listen.

Back then I thought this, but now I feel that—as the years go by, the images you get from the lyrics evolve.

Many Vocaloid fans would name this song when they think of Megurine Luka.

My heart won’t stop pounding at the soundscape that makes it feel like a hefty “something” is slowly closing in.

This track by Vocaloid producer Kirai Hiiragi, known for his dark style, was released in 2020.

With its unpredictable song structure and noisy vocals, it’s Kirai Hiiragi’s world in full force—an insanely cool piece.

It gives the impression of leaping over genre boundaries like rock, jazz, and dubstep.

By the way, this is a self-cover Vocaloid version of a song originally provided to the singer Meichan.

When it comes to Vocaloid, many people are sure to name this one: “World is Mine” by ryo.

It also drew attention for being used in a Toyota commercial.

The illustration was done by redjuice.

The song portrays a willful young lady, expressing shifts in her emotions.

Its charm lies in its cuteness and endearing clumsiness.

A funky yet chic Vocaloid track that makes you want to clap along.

It’s a hit number by Kanaria, a popular Vocaloid producer also known for “KING” and “EYE,” released in 2022.

The song is included on the second album, “Kanaria.code,” released the same year.

The pared-down instrumentation and understated melody, and the way they intertwine, convey a subtractive musical approach.

Even though it’s not a flashy song, it never feels lacking.

I’m impressed by Kanaria’s craftsmanship every single time.
