Editor-in-chief of RAG MUSIC and in charge of music festivals. When I attended my first music festival as a freshman in college, I was captivated by its charm—“I can’t believe there’s a place this free and this fun.” I share information about wonderful music festivals every day to help grow the community of festival fans.

An event committed to being held in Kagoshima Prefecture, with many of the performers being local artists. It’s a DIY festival built around the concept of creating everything ourselves.

WALK INN FES! (Walk-In Fes)

WALK INN FES! is a hometown festival of music and people in Kagoshima that has been held since 2014 under the motto, “We create our town ourselves.” Multiple local shops set up booths and local artists perform, with a focus on running the event through local power. Going forward, they aim to firmly establish the event and solidify a style that includes inviting guest artists from outside the prefecture.
