Broken HeartedKarmin

Karmin is an American pop duo, and this song is a catchy, upbeat track that makes you want to hit the dance floor.
It humorously portrays a woman pleading with her boyfriend not to break her heart and make her sad tonight.
Elephant TalkKing Crimson

Included on the 1981 album Discipline, which marked the reboot of King Crimson led by Robert Fripp after his silence following the band’s breakup declaration in the ’70s.
It showcases the trickiness of Adrian Belew, who joined as guitarist and vocalist.
Belew is also known in Japan for TV commercials where he used his guitar to mimic animal sounds.
Sound Of DrumsKula Shaker

Included on their second album, Peasants, Pigs and Astronauts, released in 1999 after a difficult production, following their meteoric rise to stardom with their 1995 debut.
The psychedelic direction remains intact, resulting in a heavy, richly layered sound.
However, due to remarks made by frontman Crispian that led to a decline in their popularity, sales dropped significantly compared to the previous release.
BreakthroughLemonade Mouth

This song by the fictional band of the same name from the musical film Lemonade Mouth is a fast-paced pop rock track that lifts your spirits even when you’re feeling down.
Its positive lyrics sing that even when the future looks bleak and times are tough, the day of a breakthrough—a great leap forward—will come, giving you the encouragement you need.
Go The DistanceLucas Grabeel

This song is an insert track from Disney’s 1997 film Hercules, and this version sung by Disney Channel star Lucas Grabeel has a faster pace and a more modern arrangement.
“Go the Distance” means to see something through to the very end in Japanese, and it’s a song that gives you the strength to push a little further when you feel like giving up.

Repeat (UK)Manic Street Preachers

A track from their first album, released alongside their bold claim: “If our debut hits No.
1 in the U.S., we’ll break up.” The album itself was a sprawling double-disc—ambitious for a new act—and it had several sagging moments, but this song alone stood out in a strangely distinctive way.
For the record, the band didn’t break up and is still active today.
You Got Me Into ThisMartika

A spirited dance number from her 1989 debut album “Martika,” the record that made her famous with the smash hit “Toy Soldier.” It prominently features instruments that, in a good way, epitomize the ’80s, and it boasts flawless sound production.
