Girl Ultra is a Mexico-born artist known for her smooth R&B.
Interestingly, she was actually a member of a disco band during her school days.
Hard to imagine given her current smooth R&B sound, right? Perhaps because of that background, she says she draws strong inspiration from songs of the ’80s.
It’s true—the melodies don’t really feel like ’90s R&B.
Latin R&B is famous for its exceptionally high quality.
