Let It All OutLEISURE

Leisure is a collective-style band based in Auckland, New Zealand.

Starting from a laid-back session on the west coast of Muriwai in 2015, they’ve become known for a sound that centers on electronic music while fluidly crossing genres like funk, disco, and alternative R&B.

Each member is a seasoned talent with their own projects, and in 2023 one member won the APRA Silver Scroll Award for Benny’s “Glitter,” highlighting their strong reputation as producers as well.

In December 2025, they released a track that had been performed to great acclaim on the tour for their album “Welcome to the Mood.” The song features a dazzling, French touch–inspired piano riff intertwined with a groovy disco-funk bassline, building to a cathartic, exhilarating release in the chorus.

Lyrically, it portrays unwavering support for a loved one and the importance of putting that connection into words now.

It’s a perfect track for a nighttime drive or as party background music.

Summer WindFrank Sinatra

Summer WindFrank Sinatra

Originally included on the 1966 album Strangers in the Night, this piece began as a German song, for which Johnny Mercer rewrote the lyrics in English.

Its poetic lines—evoking memories of a love that fades like the wind at summer’s end—are striking, and the blend of Sinatra’s smooth vocals with Nelson Riddle’s sophisticated orchestral arrangement creates a perfect balance.

Topping Billboard’s Easy Listening chart, the song has been featured in films like Blade Runner 2049 and TV series such as Ozark, and has been covered by many artists, including Michael Bublé.

It’s a wonderful listen when you want to sink into a nostalgic mood as the seasons change.

Night SideHenry Mancini

This piece, included on the soundtrack of the 1962 film Hatari!, is an instrumental work by Henry Mancini.

Although it scores an adventure film set in Africa, it exudes a sophisticated mood that blends jazz and lounge music.

The ensemble of brass and woodwinds, understated percussion, and a mellow melody create a sound that feels as comfortable as being in a nighttime cocktail bar.

The contrasting elements—the African savanna at night and a refined jazz sound—are beautifully harmonized, setting the scene for a relaxed, grown-up atmosphere.

It’s a perfect track for a night drive or a quiet weekend evening.

A track released as a single by Alicia Keys in 2004.

It was inspired by the death of American singer Aaliyah in a plane crash in August 2001.

The track became a hit around the world and won a Grammy Award in 2005.

Breezin’George Benson

This is an instrumental track with an appealing sense of freshness, like a pleasant breeze blowing through.

It was created by George Benson, an artist who transcends the boundaries of jazz and R&B with his exceptional guitar technique and smooth vocals.

The piece is the title track from his 1976 masterpiece Breezin’, a pivotal turning point in his career, and it’s also known as a defining song of the smooth jazz genre.

Its sophisticated guitar tone relaxes the listener, like an afternoon spent at a resort.

In July 1976, it achieved major commercial success, topping the Billboard Pop chart for two consecutive weeks.

It’s the perfect choice for restaurant background music—elegant and refined, enhancing a meal without intruding on conversation.
