ExistEmployed To Serve

If you’re looking for loud bands with personalities you won’t find in the mainstream scene, this is one you should definitely check out.
Employed To Serve, a metallic hardcore band from the UK based in London, has earned high praise—their second album, The Warmth Of A Dying Sun, released in 2017, was named Album of the Year by the long-running music magazine Kerrang!.
Their song Exist, released in June 2021, centers on the ferociously aggressive screams of the band’s sole female vocalist, Justine Jones, while pushing further than ever into heavy metal territory.
It announces a new evolution for the band, featuring massive ensemble power built on solid guitar riffs and ultra-tight rhythms, and even a blistering guitar solo.
The track also evokes elements of groove metal reminiscent of Lamb of God and Machine Head, and, while incorporating clean parts, never loses its hardcore spirit.
Be sure to check out their latest album and masterpiece Conquering, which includes this track!
Echoes In RainEnya

Many people associate rain-soaked cityscapes with a dreamlike quality—streetlights turning hazy, views through windows blurring with droplets.
“Echoes In Rain,” sung by Enya, the reigning vocalist in the world of healing music, is a piece that depicts the ethereal realm brought about by rain.
Enya’s voice layers with the chorus, supported by an orchestra led primarily by strings.
Listening to this song will make even everyday scenes look different than usual.
Exuma, the Obeah ManExuma

The film NOPE captivated many with a story that only deepened its mysteries.
Contributing to its eerie atmosphere was the song Exuma, the Obeah Man.
Released in 1970, its lyrics depict fear of inexplicable phenomena.
It’s a track that feels as though it was made just for the movie.
In fact, director Jordan Peele has said he drew inspiration from this piece when developing the story.
EusexuaFKA Twigs

FKA twigs, a British singer-songwriter known for her distinctive musicality.
This track draws inspiration from Prague’s underground techno scene, featuring striking minimal synth textures and sensual vocals.
Released in September 2024, it also serves as the title track of her album scheduled for January 2025, and stands as a symbol of her musical evolution.
It expresses a transcendent experience through art, music, and connection with others, inviting listeners on a journey of deep empathy and self-exploration.
Whether in a late-night club or a quiet room when you want to face yourself, this is a highly recommended song.
EuphoriaFULLJOS

Spanish music producer Furuijos.
He’s known for highly original works rooted in a variety of electronic styles, including techno, house, EDM, and trance.
One of his standout psychedelic trance tracks is “Euphoria.” While many psytrance tracks build from a quiet intro and gradually raise the voltage, this one kicks off with an energetic beat right from the start.
It leans more toward the downer side of psytrance, making it a great pick for those who want to get fully immersed.
End of the BeginningFabien Tell

The piece “End of the Beginning” used in Kirin Beer’s Honshibori Chuhai “Nothing added, the natural taste of fruit” commercial is a work by Fabian Tell.
While he is a relatively minor composer globally, his approach to music is highly experimental, and in this piece as well, he weaves together major and minor modes to create a style reminiscent of contemporary music.
The violin leaves a particularly strong impression, so I imagine many listeners still have it stuck in their heads.

EpicFaith No More

Faith No More is a legendary band that pioneered funk metal and alternative rock, profoundly influencing the bands that followed.
After the brilliant Mike Patton joined, they achieved commercial success, propelled by the hit Epic.
Released as a single from their classic 1989 album The Real Thing, it broke into the Billboard Top 10.
While packed with the band’s signature funk-metal elements, its incredibly catchy, pop-leaning chorus had all the makings of a hit.
It’s practically a template for the hybrid rock that flourished from the ’90s onward, so you should definitely give it a listen at least once!
