While it’s easy to find songs about fireworks in Japanese music, it can be surprisingly difficult to immediately name a few Western songs that “sing about fireworks.”

With lyrics that liken fireworks to feelings of gratitude, it’s sure to lift your spirits! The song is performed by Rend Collective, a rock band from Northern Ireland.

Blame the FireworksSatellite Stories
Satellite Stories is an indie rock band from Finland.
Their track “Blame the Fireworks,” from the 2012 album Phrases To Break The Ice, is a rare number that uses fireworks as a metaphor.
It’s cool how the lyrics skillfully express pent-up feelings by “blaming the fireworks.” The alternative rock sound—quite different from Japanese songs about fireworks—also feels really fresh and gripping!
