A song with an anti-suicide message released in 1993.

In 1995, The Samaritans, a support listening service in the UK, ran a press advertising campaign using the song’s lyrics to address the low usage of their hotline among young men, a group with high suicide rates.

You Belong With MeTaylor Swift

It’s a song that portrays a very cool, confident woman, with the lyric “Your place is with me.” Released in 2009, it’s a country-pop track.

The music video, filmed at a high school in Tennessee, won an MTV Video Music Award.

It has over 500 million views on YouTube, and in the video the artist plays two roles herself, which became a big talking point for how adorable it is.

Its upbeat melody is easy to get into, so I highly recommend it.

Sigrid, the Norwegian singer-songwriter.

Her song “The Hype” is written based on her real-life experiences.

The title literally means “exaggerated publicity.” In the song, she depicts the growing expectations from the public and her anxiety about whether she can live up to them.

However, in the latter half, she tells us there are things more important than meeting those expectations.

That message will surely move you.

Another appeal is how the melody is kept light and breezy in contrast to the weighty theme.
