Formed in Pennsylvania in 1997, the four-piece band Halestorm is known for a sound rooted in hard rock and heavy metal, while incorporating elements of alternative metal and post-grunge.

They released their debut album, “Halestorm,” in 2009.

In 2013, they won the Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance for “Love Bites (So Do I).” Frontwoman Lzzy Hale’s powerful vocals and energetic performances are standout features, and the band is also known for hard touring, playing over 250 shows a year.

Highly recommended not only for metalheads but also for fans of female vocalists.

MadhouseANTHRAX

Formed in New York State in 1981, this metal band is known as one of the “Big Four of thrash metal,” alongside Metallica, Megadeth, and Slayer, who also debuted in the 1980s.

While they are a flagship metal band with fans around the world, they maintain a distinctive sound unconstrained by genre, and are also known for pioneering rap metal—the root of the mixture rock that has now become standard in the J-pop scene.

From high-speed, loud tracks that epitomize thrash metal to heavy yet melodious songs with outstanding choral work, they have continued to showcase a multifaceted musicality throughout their long career.

Hailing from the United States, We Came As Romans is a popular band known for fusing emotional melodies with a heavy sound.

While it’s easy to get swept up in their impactful, crushing riffs, their true forte lies in the contrast with the beautiful clean sections colored by synths.

This dramatic progression creates an addictive quality.

In 2018, they faced the tragedy of losing vocalist Kyle Pavone, but the album Darkbloom, released after overcoming that grief, has earned overwhelming support from fans, with comments like “their resolve is deeply moving” and “it also conveys a sense of hope for the future.” Be sure to fully immerse yourself in the message carried by their music, forged through hardship.
