Regardless of genre, we’ll bring you a variety of classics and fan favorites—enjoy!

[Western Music] Official Olympic Theme and Cheer Songs [2026] (21–30)

ReachGloria Estefan

If you watched the closing ceremony of the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, you might remember the scene where Gloria Estefan performed this song.

“Reach” is a track by Gloria Estefan, the popular singer-songwriter born in Cuba, and, as mentioned, it is known as one of the official theme songs of the 1996 Atlanta Olympics.

It was included on the album “Destiny,” released the same year, and in Japan a special maxi-single was issued.

“Reach” is a timeless and beautiful classic that highlights her refreshing, radiant vocals, and in fact there is also a Spanish-language version.

Titled “Puedes Llegar,” it features many Latin singers in addition to Gloria, including a young Ricky Martin.

Be sure to check it out as well!

Sissel is a nationally beloved singer from the host country, Norway.

Known as the “Crystal Voice” for her clear, soaring vocals, she has an international career.

The lyrics are sprinkled with Nordic motifs while conveying the importance of a partner who fights alongside you and the feeling of love.

It’s a soothing kind of cheer song.

Amazingly, this was a massive hit that reportedly sold 17 million copies worldwide! It was the official theme song of the 1988 Seoul Olympics, and many people who remember that era will surely recall this track.

It’s surprising in hindsight that the composition was handled by Italy’s globally renowned producer and composer Giorgio Moroder, and the vocals were performed by Koreana, a mixed-gender group from Korea formed in 1962.

The soaring, beautiful vocals and superb choral work make it a classic that heightens the emotion of the world’s greatest sporting event.

I recommend listening to both the English and Korean versions.

Even younger music fans who only know modern K-pop should definitely give it a listen!

Their goosebump-inducing vocal power is absolutely breathtaking! This majestic song is a perfect fit for the Olympics, whose theme is bringing the world together.

It was one of Michael’s own favorites, a track filled with his passionate heart and his desire to change the world through music.

It’s a masterpiece that makes you feel as if you’re being hugged by kindness!
