When it comes to the most important groups in West Coast hip-hop, wouldn’t it have to be N.W.A? With members like Dr.

Dre and Ice Cube, the group had a massive influence on modern hip-hop.

Among their works, a track I especially recommend is Straight Outta Compton.

Its hard-hitting flow and tight rhymes epitomize gangsta rap and really leave an impression.

The rapper Notorious B.I.G., respected by East Coast heads for his overwhelming charisma, was also one of the victims of the East Coast–West Coast feud.

Tupac, the legendary rapper who represents the West Coast.

You can’t talk about 1990s hip-hop without mentioning his presence… that’s how great a rapper he was.

Back when he was active, the feud between the West Coast and the East Coast was intense, and it was truly a dangerous era compared to today’s hip-hop scene.

Tupac became a victim of that time and was assassinated by an unknown assailant in 1996.

Even after his death, several songs were released, and he continues to be respected by many heads to this day.
