Wake Me Up When September EndsGreen Day

It’s a song with a refreshing melody line, but its lyrics carry a very serious message.
It’s a single released in 2005 by the American band Green Day.
Guitarist/vocalist Billie Joe Armstrong wrote it based on the loss of his father during his childhood.
The music video tells a story of a young couple torn apart by war, intercut with scenes of the band performing.
So the “autumn” in the title is referring to his father.
On Top Of The WorldImagine Dragons

One of my favorite songs of theirs that makes me feel happy.
The fact that they can create such an uplifting track with such a light, breezy sound—they really are amazing! Even when summer is over, the party’s just getting started! It’s the kind of song that makes you think, “Let’s keep the energy up and have fun!”
September NightVan Morrison

A song that closes Van Morrison’s 1983 album, his 14th, Inarticulate Speech of the Heart, portraying a heart longing for autumn.
Along with Inarticulate Speech of the Heart No.
2, it was recorded in Sausalito, California.
The U.S.
edition was released by Warner Bros.
Records, while the European edition was released by Mercury Records.
Marking the end of Morrison’s contract with Warner Bros., this track also became a turning point in his career.
In conclusion
This time, I selected Western songs perfect for September, and since it’s the end of summer, it’s no surprise that many melancholic tracks made the list.
