TransmissionJoy Division

It’s “Transmission” by Joy Division, a British punk group that was active in the ’80s.
They’re a post-punk band that incorporates a variety of musical genres.
Their active period was short, but this song has gone on to influence many well-known artists.
It has a somewhat dark vibe, but the more you listen, the more addictive it becomes.
I Wanna Be Your LoverPrince

This is a hugely popular song Prince released early in his career in the 1970s.
Even now, his distinctive vocals still feel fresh and draw you in, don’t they? He had an explosive breakthrough in the 1980s with works like Purple Rain, but you can tell he was a remarkably talented artist even from this pre-breakthrough track.
The late Prince is known as a charismatic figure to countless musicians.
(Bang A Gong) Get It OnT-REX

T.
Rex, led by Marc Bolan, churned out numerous hit songs in the 1970s.
Among them, the most famous is Get It On.
In the 1980s, The Power Station covered it and turned it into a hit again.

Close To YouCarpenters

A gem of a love song that likens feelings for a loved one to angels and natural phenomena.
With Burt Bacharach and Hal David’s sweet melodies and poetic lyrics, and the Carpenters’ unique interpretation, it creates a warm, intimate world.
The serene piano line and Karen’s crystal-clear vocals weave a sonic landscape like an angel’s whisper.
Since its release in May 1970, it held the top spot on the Billboard chart for four consecutive weeks.
It has been featured in the animated series The Simpsons and the film There’s Something About Mary, continuing to soothe the hearts of many.
An ideal track for peaceful moments with someone special or as background music for a romantic dinner.
Please Mr PostmanCarpenters

The Carpenters released numerous hit songs in the 1970s.
This song also reached number one on the U.S.
charts in 1975.
What drew attention at the time was the footage in this music video.
It was a few years before Tokyo Disneyland opened, so Japanese fans watched with great interest to see what Disneyland in America was like.
