This is the BGM that plays after the battle with the formidable enemy, Malverni.

Its tone feels as if it reflects the inner heart of one of the characters, Shin, and it can move you to tears.

It leaves a sad impression rather than a cathartic one.

The music unit ACE composed it.

It’s the latter part of the staff credits—the ending scene—and this is the last song used there.

With Jen Bird’s beautiful vocals, which appear several times in this title, and a gentle ballad, surely many people were moved to tears by the game’s final ending!

Its biggest hallmark is the intro—a jazzy piano that strongly evokes Latin soul, originally meant for a dance number.

But the real charm of this track is how it smartly and lyrically conjures a scorching landscape! It fits the vibe perfectly.

The tempo is very fast, yet the song has dynamic ebbs and flows that keep the excitement unstoppable.

ExplorationACE

This track is extremely popular as well! It’s used in regular battles.

Many players probably remember hearing it mainly on the Ancient Ship, in the Abandoned Factory, and within the Elpis Ruins.

Composed by ACE, it weaves together a howling guitar solo, energetic orchestral hits, and subtly audible hoover and synth sounds at the beginning.

Despair and hope... and thenHiramatsu Kenji

This is the battle BGM used for the final boss fight in the last episode.

It begins with a divine, operatic chorus and shifts into orchestral and hard rock—a ballad that evolves over time.

It perfectly sets the mood for the ultimate showdown.

The piano solo in the latter half is beautiful as well.

It’s a beloved BGM that’s essential to the RPG atmosphere!

This BGM is characterized by a beautiful operatic chorus.

It’s used within the Kingdom of Luxuria area.

While imparting a slightly serious impression, it weaves a sense of drive with a catchy melody.

The track features dramatic shifts in intensity, comfortably blending the once-considered cheap, programmed sounds with orchestral-like soft synth tones.

That was an impressive piano solo! I imagine many players were reminded of the cutscene leading into the Shin and Metsu battle in Episode 7, as well as Homura’s monologue in the ending.

As it moves into the latter half, the mood shifts to a brighter tone, the percussion rushes in all at once, and the atmosphere becomes increasingly emotional.
