The music in Xenoblade is so cool, isn’t it?

From the time the original Xenoblade was released, its soundtrack has received high praise from many players, and the sequel, Xenoblade 2, has also made big waves for its BGM.

A team of five composers worked on the tracks, and every piece is powerful and stylish.

I’m sure many of you have been paying attention to the music while playing.

So in this article, I’ll introduce some of the most popular tracks from Xenoblade 2’s soundtrack!

If you’ve played the game, these are all unforgettable masterpieces.

Deadly Duel IraACE

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 – OST “Desperate Struggle: Torna”
Deadly Duel IraACE

The composer is ACE.

If you’ve played the game, you probably associate it strongly with the Yoshitsune battle in Episode 3.

It uses somewhat Japanese scales and instruments, blending them into a hard-edged style.

This track is also reputed to be highly addictive.

The distinctive voice samples really stand out.

Nopon BoyACE

It’s a track with a charm different from the super cool battle themes.

In the story, it plays during the entrance of Tora, the Nopon boy.

It’s a poppy, cute piece that fits the carefree, mischievous Tora perfectly! This range is also part of what makes Xenoblade’s BGM so appealing.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna ~ The Golden Country – OST – A Moment of Eternity

It’s a grand yet warm piece that plays during the staff credits of the additional content “Torna ~ The Golden Country.” Composed by musician Yasunori Mitsuda from Yamaguchi Prefecture, with lead vocals by British singer-songwriter Jen Bird.

It has a very pleasant, easy-to-listen-to feel.

In conclusion

I introduced some of the most popular tracks from Xenoblade Chronicles 2’s soundtrack.

I think most of them were memorable battle themes.

Every track is truly awesome—there are so many that feel like main themes that it was hard to choose! There are still plenty of great songs I couldn’t cover this time, so be sure to check out the soundtrack.
