As its title “Snow dome” suggests, this is a playful track.

With Kaela Kimura’s signature whimsical lyrics and rhythm, it’s a song that gives the listener both comfort and energy—one you’ll want to hear when you’re feeling down.

Isn’t this a classic that everyone has heard somewhere? I still remember listening to it a lot in my youth, relating it to my own heartbreak.

The lyrics sink in so naturally that even just reading them is moving, I think.

Merry XmasBoA

BoA’s “Meri Kuri” is a song that makes you feel how each word in the lyrics gradually piles up into memories of, and feelings for, a loved boyfriend or girlfriend.

Combined with BoA’s vocal prowess, I think it’s a truly wonderful masterpiece.

White SeasonMISIA

MISIA – White Season (Official Music Video)
White SeasonMISIA

This song by MISIA is about the winter season, and it’s also a song about a loved one.

It reminded me of how my friends used to sing it at karaoke, but MISIA’s songs really demand strong vocal ability, so I think it’s quite difficult to sing this one well.

Paradise BabyRIP SLYME

RIP SLYME’s classic “Rakuen Baby” is a summer song with rap-style vocals throughout, and lyrics that evoke the blazing heat of midsummer.

Even though it’s rap, it’s very pleasant to listen to, and it’s a timeless summer track I often play in the car on summer drives.

The part of this song that I think is amazing is the opening melody.

The music instantly draws you in and evokes a wintry Christmas night, and it resonates in my heart forever.

I also think the lyrics and rhythm are geared toward young people and make it a very impressive masterpiece.

Winter, againGLAY

This is truly one of GLAY’s masterpieces.

As a song by GLAY, who hail from Hokkaido, its lyrics about winter landscapes make the midwinter scenes feel all the more vivid and powerful.

It also includes parts that sing of love for a partner, and the combination of the rhythm with TERU’s wistful vocals is absolutely superb.
