A unique game using a hair dryer! Here’s a fun idea for a spinning balloon ring.

Balloons are exciting and enjoyable for kids, right? Their colorful, lightweight movement makes them irresistible, and part of the charm is how play expands as children touch, toss, and chase them.

This time, let’s connect balloons to make a spinning balloon ring.

You’ll need balloons, tape, and a hair dryer.

Inflate the balloons, connect them with tape to form a loop, and you’re ready! Blow air with the hair dryer, and the balloon loop will spin round and round—it’s super fun!

A trash bag… that bounces?! A stunning transformation with just two materials 😍#AtHomePlayIndoor playPlay ideasGarbage bag#Ball𓈒𓏸𓈒꙳𓂃 𓈒𓏸𓈒꙳𓂃 𓈒𓏸𓈒꙳𓂃 𓈒𓏸𓈒꙳𓂃 𓈒𓏸𓈒꙳𓂃 Today: 2 materials — a jumbo ball. [What you’ll use] ・Trash bags (any size is OK) ・Vinyl tape (from DAISO) ※ Make sure to fill it well with air and tie the trash bag tightly! → If the air leaks, it won’t bounce 😭 ◾︎ Using the same steps, trash bags of various sizes, small plastic bags, and even balloons can become balls!! If you gently remove the vinyl tape from the trash bag, it comes off cleanly, so you can stick it back on. → After playing, if you carefully peel it off… you can use the trash bag and vinyl tape again! Save this so you don’t forget ❤️ 𓈒𓏸𓈒꙳𓂃 𓈒𓏸𓈒꙳𓂃 𓈒𓏸𓈒꙳𓂃 𓈒𓏸𓈒꙳𓂃 𓈒𓏸𓈒꙳𓂃 If you make a jumbo ball with a trash bag, once you put air in, it’s big and bouncy and fluffy!! 😍 See it with your eyes, touch it with your hands, listen with your ears!! It gives lots of sensory stimulation ❤️ It was also fun to watch the air slowly leak out while we played 🤭💕 𓈒𓏸𓈒꙳𓂃 𓈒𓏸𓈒꙳𓂃 𓈒𓏸𓈒꙳𓂃 𓈒𓏸𓈒꙳𓂃 𓈒𓏸𓈒꙳𓂃 Thank you for checking out Rano Mama among so many accounts!! 💓 When you’re not sure what to play, please use this as a reference 💛❤️💙

Let’s make a big ball and have fun! Here’s an idea for a garbage-bag ball.

It’s a DIY ball you can make with materials you have at home.

All you need are a trash bag and vinyl tape or duct tape.

After sealing the bottom of the trash bag with tape, blow air into it and tie the opening.

Wrap vinyl tape around the inflated bag, and you’re done! Its fluffy feel is addictive, and kids are sure to get excited! The soft material means it won’t hurt even if it hits you, which is a nice bonus.

Secret Base Dome

@mami_asobi

Today’s post is the Newspaper Dome. This activity got my child the most excited ever 🤭 It’s spacious—about 5 or 6 kids could fit inside 😁 Kids love secret-base-type spots, right? With the breeze coming in, it felt cool and comfy inside! For a dome this big, one fan might not inflate it enough; using two made it pop up nice and full! If you only have one fan, I recommend making a smaller one 😊 How to play: Go in and out, jump around inside Bring toys into the dome and play Toss in a blanket for a cozy nap Bring in snacks and drinks Stick stickers all over the walls Scribble on the floor or walls with pens Let them go all out, and finish the day by tearing it up—that alone can keep you busy all day 🤭 Materials: About 30 sheets of newspaper (use more or fewer—try any size you like) Packing tape Plastic sheeting (for the ceiling) I made each wall panel with 6 sheets of newspaper this time! The entrance side used 5 sheets! For the ceiling, I opened up two plastic garbage bags and used those! I used plastic for the ceiling to let in light this time, but you can make the ceiling out of newspaper too! Thanks always for watching 😊 Let’s keep adding to our at-home play ideas and enjoy parenting together ☺️✨ At-home play Indoor play Educational play Parent–child time Newspaper play Newspaper dome Secret base Secret-base dome

Original Song – mami_asobi – mami_asobi

Let’s secretly play in your very own room! Here are some ideas for a secret-base dome.

For children, a secret base is a special place that sparks their sense of adventure and imagination.

It’s an appealing space they can use freely—as their personal hideout or a place to invite trusted friends to play together.

This time, let’s make a secret-base dome using materials you already have at home.

You’ll need newspaper, plastic bags, and duct tape.

After making the walls and roof with the newspaper and plastic bags, blow air in through the entrance using a fan.

It will puff up softly and it’s really fun!

Sledding

Let's play with towels! Age-based sled play #physicalplay #childcare
Sledding

Here’s a sledding-style activity using everyday towels.

Prepare two towels, each large enough for one child to sit or stand on.

Have the child ride on one towel, and hold the other towel in their hands while the teacher pulls, moving as if it were a sled.

If the towel is tied once and the child holds the tied section, it’s easier to grip even with weaker hand strength.

Balance is key during this sled play.

Whether the child stands or sits should be chosen based on their developmental stage, prioritizing the safer option.
