Its inexpressibly unique electronic sound design makes it an incredibly satisfying track.

You could call it a pretty unique, idiosyncratic kind of ambient.

The disruptive feel of the fourth track, “Cross Selling,” around the 30-minute mark, is fantastic.

Centered around Alex Paterson, the group has featured various members over the years.

Released on March 20, 1995, Orbus Terrarum is an album characterized by a more earthy and organic sound.

While rooted in ambient dub and ambient techno, it crafts soundscapes with an awareness of nature and the environment.

It’s also appealing for its many long-form tracks, such as Valley and Plateau.

Although critical reception was mixed, Rolling Stone praised it highly as the “Album of the Month.” It’s a must-listen for anyone drawn to the allure of ambient music.
