Arashi’s Popular Songs: From Mega-Hits to Hidden Gems, All in One Go! (81–90)
Dear Snowarashi

A poignant and beautiful portrayal of a winter snow scene, this is one of Arashi’s most beloved ballads.
Released in October 2010, it also drew attention as the theme song for the film “Ōoku,” starring Kazunari Ninomiya.
The lyrics, fragile yet powerful, and the gentle voices of the five members resonate deeply.
It became a major hit, surpassing 500,000 copies in its first week on the Oricon Singles Chart and achieving the milestone of 22 consecutive No.
1 singles.
It’s a song you’ll want to listen to quietly on a winter night while gazing out the window.
Recommended not only for Arashi fans but also for anyone nursing a bittersweet love.
era; age; time; periodarashi

The theme song for the 2001 drama The Kindaichi Case Files starring Jun Matsumoto.
Surprisingly, this was the first time the members sang a theme song.
Since it’s Kindaichi, it features a serious atmosphere with a minor-key 16-beat dance groove, and Jun Matsumoto delivers it in a cool, stylish way that I find really wonderful.
This track became the precursor to Arashi taking on more and more theme songs thereafter.
Definitely give it a listen.
On a quiet nightŌno Satoshi

A solo song by Satoshi Ohno included on Arashi’s 2010 album “Boku no Miteiru Fūkei.” It’s a ballad that fully showcases his solid vocal abilities.
With a simple arrangement, the melody and lyrics really stand out.
Compared to his image within the group, this track gives a more stoic and earnest impression.
If you haven’t heard it yet, it’s a must-check!
Friendshipaiba masaki

This track features a gentle tone layered over a four-on-the-floor beat that perfectly suits Masaki Aiba’s character.
The lyrics are written as if Aiba is speaking directly to the listener, making it an irresistible solo song for fans.
In live performances, it often includes messages from various people in celebration of his birthday, and true to its title, “friendship,” it’s a warm, heartfelt number.
I seek/Daylightarashi

It is a double A-side single: “I seek” is the theme song for the drama The Most Difficult Romance in the World, starring Satoshi Ohno, and “Daylight” is the theme song for 99.9: Criminal Lawyer, starring Jun Matsumoto.
Arashi ranked first in total artist sales for 2016, marking their sixth time achieving this.
Arashi’s momentum is unlikely to slow down this year, either.
Sky of the heartarashi

This is the lead track from the 2015 album “Japonism.” As the title suggests, the song unfolds with constant traditional Japanese instruments and Asian rhythms.
The lyrics are sprinkled with archaic Japanese expressions, and the taiko drum’s “don-doko don-doko” beat heightens the excitement.
It really makes you feel that Arashi can do anything.

Do you… ?arashi

The lead track from the album “This is Arashi,” released in November 2020.
Marked by a groovy, danceable sound, this special work is the first since 2008’s “Step and Go” to purely portray the relationship between Arashi and their fans.
Themes like “love” and an “unwavering heart” are sung with power, reaffirming the message they have consistently cherished since their debut.
Serving as a culmination before their hiatus, this song is perfect for moments when you want to make a fresh start or deepen bonds with your friends.
