Arashi’s Popular Songs: From Mega-Hits to Hidden Gems, All in One Go! (1–10)
trutharashi

The A-side track from Arashi’s single “truth/Kaze no Mukō e,” notable for its dark, mysterious atmosphere.
Released in August 2008, the song was used as the theme for the TBS drama Maō, starring Satoshi Ohno.
Its tense melody and string-heavy arrangement brilliantly capture the drama’s themes of revenge and sorrow.
It topped the Oricon year-end chart, marking Arashi’s first-ever year-end No.
1—a remarkable achievement.
It’s the perfect song to sink into after watching a suspense drama or film.
Monsterarashi

A dance number that captures the mindset of a monster awakening in the darkness of night—mysterious yet depicting a deep, abiding love! Despite its seemingly dark worldview, it embodies eternal love: continuing to search for the beloved even after losing one’s memories, even after being reborn.
Each listen evokes fresh emotion.
Released in May 2010, it became well-known as the theme song for the drama “Kaibutsu-kun” starring Satoshi Ohno.
It is also highly regarded as one of Arashi’s signature dance tracks.
A perfect song for a special night when you want to vow profound love, or for those who believe in fateful encounters.
Your Songarashi

The drama “Boku to Shippo to Kagurazaka,” starring member Masaki Aiba, theme song.
On the official website, it’s described as “a song that sings about the preciousness of ‘everyday life’ and feelings for the people, things, and places you cherish, set to a warm and pleasant melody.” It’s a track that calms your mind when you listen to it.
Endless skyarashi

This is Arashi’s 34th single, which also served as the theme song for the Getsu-9 drama “Freeter, Ie o Kau” starring Kazunari Ninomiya.
In 2010, they achieved the incredible feat of releasing six singles in a single year.
It might sound cliché to say it’s very Ninomiya-like, but it’s gentle, and the chorus is powerful, really grabbing the listener’s heart.
Even if you haven’t watched the drama, I think listening to this will make you want to see it!
Fight Songarashi

Although this song wasn’t released as a single, it’s a track created by members of the group, with lyrics by Arashi and composition by Kazunari Ninomiya.
It’s included on their 18th single, “Love so sweet,” and became popular and well-known among fans through word of mouth.
With its slightly comical tune and lyrics, it can make you chuckle or move you to tears—I think it’s a song packed with Arashi’s charm.
I recommend it even to those who aren’t Arashi fans.
GUTS!arashi

This is Arashi’s 43rd single and the song that closed out the 2014 year-end NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen.
With a strong, march-like rhythm and a tempo that’s easy to dance and sing to, it’s an Arashi number anyone—young or old—can enjoy.
I think it’s a fitting choice to cap off Kouhaku.
If you don’t know Arashi, this might be a great entry point.
Highly recommended.
A-RA-SHIarashi

Speaking of Arashi, is this the song that first comes to mind for many people? It’s Arashi’s debut single, released in 1999.
It was also chosen as the image song for the Volleyball World Cup.
As a debut track, it feels very fresh.
Even though many years have passed since its release, it’s such a popular song that it wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say someone always sings it at karaoke.
