REVΘCATEkuro

If you like pop-style artcore, I recommend this piece: “REVΘCATE.” Composed by Kuro, a Japan-based composer, it blends a pop sound with a progressive structure.
This track can be considered a culmination of Kuro’s work, mixing a variety of elements.
While it gives a pop impression overall, the mood shifts dramatically, making it a great pick for those who enjoy songs that showcase multiple personalities within a single track.
99 GloomsSta

Compared to other electronic music, artcore makes heavy use of programmed piano.
“99 Glooms” by Sta, a composer who represents artcore, is a masterpiece that lets you fully savor the genre’s piano.
The charm of this track is, above all, the piano melody in the build-up.
The piano sound design is remarkable and comes across very naturally.
Sta always delivers high-quality tracks—impressive as ever.
The RicochetSta

Sta is a designer active on the game Tone Sphere, which mixes a 3D space with music.
While he primarily works as the game’s designer as mentioned above, he is also active as a composer and has released a variety of tracks.
Among them, the Artcore piece I’d especially recommend is The Ricochet.
It’s a high-voltage work, with intense electronic sounds resounding from start to finish.

LengselRigel Theatre

Rigel Theatre is a group that enjoys immense popularity in the artcore scene.
They’re known for a musical style rooted in folk music, and all of their works consistently exude a fantastical atmosphere.
Lengsel is no exception—its wonderfully crafted, fantasy-tinged tone is especially memorable.
Rigel Theatre’s tracks are remarkably smooth in how their structures bring the beats together, making them exceptionally easy and pleasant to listen to.
If you like folk-influenced music, be sure to check them out.
Valley of VoicesKARA

Many people associate artcore with a stylish image.
In fact, most artcore tracks do have that kind of tone, but KARA’s famous track “Valley of Voices” is known for its extremely intense sound.
The beat is particularly unusual, with sections built around irregular rhythms.
Compared to typical artcore, it’s a highly unconventional piece, so be sure to check it out.
InertiaGardens

Artcore is often characterized by meticulous production that evokes the image of a live piano, but there are tracks that put electronic music front and center.
One such example is “Inertia.” The synthesizers are treated with distinctive effects, giving the sound a vibe reminiscent of 16-bit video game music.
Even among artcore works, its melody is exceptionally unconventional, and the buildup carries overwhelming impact.
It’s a must-listen for those who love uniquely flavored artcore.
chromastelliaak+q

Basically, while artcore often features serious melodies, they’re usually arranged into tunes that still carry a refreshing atmosphere.
Of course, those kinds of tracks are appealing, but there are probably many people who want to listen to something more melancholic.
For those listeners, I recommend this piece: “chromastellia.” The composer is ak+q, whose works are known for their strong individuality.
Even though it’s short, this track is packed with distinctive, sorrowful melodies.
