In Nogizaka46, former member Himeka Nakamoto—who made her first selection with the single “Barette”—and Maaya Wada—who made her first selection with the single “Kizuitara Kataomoi”—are both from Hiroshima Prefecture.
After graduating from Nogizaka46, Himeka Nakamoto has been working as a psychological counselor and opened the counseling salon “Monica to Watashi” in 2018.
Maaya Wada is still active as a member of Nogizaka46 and returned to the senbatsu with the 25th single “Shiawase no Hogoshoku,” her first selection in about six years.

Okamine, the bassist for the rock band THE BACK HONE, is also from Fukuyama City in Hiroshima Prefecture.
Fukuyama, a former castle town, has live music venues and a vibrant local band scene.

Summer Days of 1993Hiura Takanori

Takanori Hiura, who has captivated many fans as part of a duo from Hiroshima Prefecture, made his solo debut in 1987.

The guitarist, Mr.

The four members, complete strangers at the time, were headhunted and formed through the documentary project “Road of Major” on the audition show Hamaraja.
They cleared a harsh condition: if their indie single debuted within the top 50 on the Oricon charts, they would make a major debut; if not, they would disband immediately.
They pulled it off and made their debut.
