They cleared a harsh condition: if their indie single debuted within the top 50 on the Oricon charts, they would make a major debut; if not, they would disband immediately.

He served as the vocalist for the band maegashira, which was active from 2001 until it disbanded in 2011.

Since then, he has pursued a solo career.

In 2020, he drew attention for a collaboration with TEE on the track “dear DREAMER.” The song was inspired by former professional baseball player Tsuyoshi Shinjo’s attempt to return to pro baseball, and it was chosen as the theme song for the 2020 Summer Hiroshima Prefectural High School Baseball Tournament on Hiroshima Home TV.

After POTSHOT formed in 1995, they signed with the American label Asian Man Records and launched into vigorous activity.

Although POTSHOT disbanded once in 2005, they reunited in 2015 and released the mini-album “Do It Again With Potshot.” His broad musicality and exceptional playing skills have earned the trust of many musicians, adding depth and dynamism to the band’s sound.
