ANIMAReoNa
ReoNa is a singer who mainly performs anime and game music, including work for the anime Sword Art Online.
She is from Amami Oshima in Kagoshima Prefecture.
Within the story of Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online, she provided the singing voice for the in-universe artist Elsa Kanzaki, voiced by Yoko Hikasa.
In 2018, under the name “Elsa Kanzaki starring ReoNa,” she released the mini album ELZA and made her debut as a singer.
One month after that mini album’s release, she made her solo debut under the name ReoNa with SWEET HURT, which was used as the ending theme for the anime Happy Sugar Life.
Her vocals are captivating, revealing a delicate nuance behind their powerful presence.
Mikan HeartKEEN（C&K）
KEEN, a member of the male vocal duo C&K, is from Kagoshima Prefecture.

LavenderRadiant Melancholy
Radiant Melancholy is an entertainment rock band from Kagoshima that captivates listeners with catchy melodies and a touch of nostalgia.
They began as a high school band in 2017, disbanded once, and relaunched in 2020.
Their track “Escape” was featured in a local TV commercial, showcasing their talent early on.
In 2022, they pulled off the ambitious feat of releasing singles for 12 consecutive months—an impressive display of creativity.
You can’t take your eyes off their continued growth as they move their base from Kagoshima to Fukuoka, and now to Tokyo.
Diarymiccie
Singer-songwriter miccie, born in Ibusuki City, Kagoshima Prefecture, captivates listeners with her sweet, supple vocals.
After vocal training in Los Angeles, she also worked as a model and released music independently in 2006.
From 2011 to 2012, she gained valuable experience touring as a backing vocalist for Ayumi Hamasaki.
In December 2015, she made her long-awaited major debut with the digital single “Diary,” followed by the mini-album “1st Diary.” While rooted in J-POP, her sound is characterized by the infusion of R&B and soul elements.
In addition to her singing career, she also excels as a beauty professional, shining with her multifaceted talents.
Yo-kai Exercise No. 1Ōhara Yūno (moto Dream5)
Yuno Ohara, whose innocent and radiant smile is so captivating, hails from Kagoshima Prefecture.
She debuted in 2009 as a member of the dance and vocal unit Dream5, where she mainly performed as a dancer known for her sharp, dynamic moves.
In 2014, the group performed the theme song for a hit anime that became a social phenomenon, spreading energy across Japan with choreography everyone wanted to imitate.
After the group disbanded at the end of 2016, she shifted her focus to acting and modeling.
In 2019, she won the Grand Prize at the Cover Girl Awards, which honors the woman who appeared on the most magazine covers that year.
She now appears in numerous productions as an actress and also serves as an ambassador promoting the charms of her hometown, Kagoshima City.
Segodon — Main Theme —Sato Anna
Anna Sato is a singer from Kagoshima whose roots lie in Amami’s traditional music, shimauta.
She began learning shimauta from her grandfather at the age of three, and while keeping that spirit at her core, she delivers a unique sound that blends jazz and R&B.
After debuting in 2005 with Koishi Koishiya, she was selected in 2018 to perform the main theme for an NHK Taiga drama, bringing her powerful voice to national attention.
In addition to winning prizes at the Amami Folk Song Awards, she demonstrated her acclaimed expressive range by playing a leading role in the 2013 musical Les Misérables.
She also showcases her diverse talents as a voice actor in the game Splatoon 3.
I am a piano.Takada Mizue
Mizue Takada, who combined idol-like popularity with genuine vocal prowess and vividly colored the music scene of the Showa era, hails from Minamikyushu City in Kagoshima Prefecture.
After passing an audition program, she debuted in 1977 with the single “Garasuzaka,” scoring a string of hits despite being a newcomer.
She achieved the remarkable feat of sweeping that year’s music awards, including the Best New Artist Award at the Japan Record Awards.
“Watashi wa Piano,” composed by Keisuke Kuwata of Southern All Stars, is one of her signature songs.
She retired in 1985 to much regret; however, in August 2015, she performed on a music program for the first time in about 30 years, moving many listeners.
