Dizzy Sunfist is a three-piece rock band formed in Osaka.

They originally started as a cover band centered around vocalist Ayapeta and bassist Iyama.

They’re one of the bands active in Japan’s melodic hardcore scene, known for their heated, high-energy song style.

In particular, the catchy, ear-pleasing guitar riffs, Ayapeta’s powerful vocals, and drummer moAi’s powerful yet technical drumming create a harmony that will keep raising your excitement as you listen!

A three-piece girls’ band from Osaka.

Hayashi, the vocalist and the only original member, writes and composes all their songs.

She says the artist who influenced her the most is the fellow girls’ band Chatmonchy, and you can feel that spirit throughout their music.

The straightforward lyrics and performances that convey them at 200% resonate directly with the heart.

In addition to this track “LILLY,” their signature song “Dear, Young Boy” is also a must-listen masterpiece.

I hope they keep delivering seishun—youthful energy and feelings—to us from here on out!

KANA-BOON is a rock band from Osaka.

They started out when vocalist Maguro Taniguchi and his bandmates formed the group in their high school light music club.

Their sound is melodious and catchy while overflowing with drive and momentum—that’s the appeal! You can feel the influence of ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION, whose songs they used to cover.

Their debut single, “Full Drive” (Japanese title: ‘Jōsha Hissui no Kotowari, Okotowari’), which became a heavy rotation pick on FM802, was truly shocking! The resonance of their sound is fun, and I think it laid the groundwork for the literary-leaning style of many recent artists.

After steady, grassroots activity, they were appointed Sakai Goodwill Artists in September 2016.

They’re stars of Osaka!

Shanana☆MINMI

MINMI is a singer-songwriter from Osaka Prefecture.

She debuted in 2002 with “The Perfect Vision.” While her music overflows with a reggae-based mood, in recent years she’s also released many upbeat tracks that incorporate soca elements.

Her songs lift your spirits and wrap you in a pleasant, liberating atmosphere—they make you want to head to the tropics! Especially active in the summer, MINMI performed at more summer festivals in 2015 than any other female artist, earning her the title “Queen of Summer Festivals.”

PAN is a rock band formed in Osaka in 1995.

True to their bread-inspired name, they’re known for a performance where they toss bread from the stage before their shows.

Perhaps also inspired by their name, they have many food-themed songs, such as “Gyoza Tabe-CHINA,” “Komekami,” and “Konya wa BBQ,” characterized by humorous themes and a high-energy sound.

Together with their old friends SABOTEN, they co-host the music festival MASTER COLISEUM.
