Teruji Kiriyama, Ryusei Fujii, and Nozomu Kotaki of Johnny’s WEST are from Osaka Prefecture.
The other two are from Hyogo Prefecture, so as the name Johnny’s WEST suggests, the group is made up entirely of members from the Kansai region.
Ryusei Fujii’s two younger sisters are members of E-girls.
Don’t die!kocchi no kento

Kento Sugo, who performs under the name Kocchi no Kento, has been attracting a lot of attention since his 2023 release “Shinuna!” went viral on social media.
He possesses outstanding vocal ability—he even won the national a cappella competition two years in a row while in college.
Leveraging that skill, he delivers performances featuring wide melodic leaps and emotionally charged singing.

Often heard in commercials, Yabai T-Shirts Yasan was formed by members of a club at Osaka University of Arts! Their songs, with humor-filled lyrics contrasted by a cool, aggressive melodic hardcore approach, are especially popular among younger listeners.
Among the members, vocalist Koyama is from Kyoto, and bassist Aritobo is from Osaka.
Koyama is also active not only as a musician in this band but also as a video creator under the name “Sushikun.”
SPELL MAGICAcid Black Cherry
Yasu from Acid Black Cherry is from Hirakata City in Osaka Prefecture.
His band Janne Da Arc, which disbanded in 2019, was formed with his classmates ka-yu and you.
Their live-show MCs in Kansai dialect are very funny.
Their performances are cool, and that gap really gets me.
My Sweet Darlin’Yaita Hitomi

Hitomi Yaida, who has released many hit songs including “My Sweet Darlin’,” is also an Osaka-born artist.
Affectionately known as Yaiko, she’s memorable for her past barefoot live performances and her energetic singing with a distinctive vocal style.
With that lively image, Yaiko is actively performing live, and she’s a hometown-loving artist who even hosts a live event called “Yaiko Day” on August 15—named after her—in her hometown of Osaka!
