Like the wind, like the springPaix2

Paix2 (pronounced “Pepe”) is a female vocal duo that made their major debut in 2001.
It was formed by Manami from Kurayoshi City and Megumi from Kotoura Town in Tōhaku District.
Because they perform outreach concerts at prisons and juvenile detention centers, they are known as “idols for inmates.” “Like the Wind, Like Spring” is Paix2’s debut single.
Colorful TimePianika Maeda

Pianica Maeda is a melodica (keyboard harmonica) player from Tottori Prefecture who made his major debut in 1989.
He also performed as a member of the Piranhas.
Colorful Time is a track included on Pianica Maeda’s 2002 album Pianica Maeda BEST.
Sunpinku pandā

Pink Powder was a Kansai rock band formed in 1997 and disbanded in 2004, consisting of vocalist/bassist Hatsue, guitarist Teppei, and Etsuko—the “too-beautiful drummer” who drew much attention.
The former bassist Takatoshi, who left the band, is from Tottori Prefecture.
Under the production of Masahide Sakuma, who worked with many legendary bands such as GLAY and JUDY AND MARY, they made their major debut in 2001 with the single “STEP.” The band name—coined by Hatsue—reflects their musical aims, evoking a liberating, glittering brightness that feels pleasantly open.
The cute vocals are reminiscent of YUKI, and this is a band I recommend to anyone seeking nostalgic, truly good punk rock!
From behind the mountainNakamura Yoshinobu

Yoshinobu Nakamura is a singer-songwriter from Tottori Prefecture who made his CD debut in 2005.
Since 2001, he had been performing live with an acoustic guitar.
“Yama no Kage kara” (From the Shadow of the Mountains) is a track included on Nakamura’s album “Our,” released in 2014.
Harmony Xkari bando

Musicians who specialize in playing behind artists are called session musicians.
Becoming a session musician requires exceptional skill; only those who can truly be called performance specialists make the cut.
KARI BAND, which includes drummer Yuno Maeda from Tottori Prefecture, is a band formed by such session musicians.
When they were thinking of a band name, nothing in particular came to mind, so they simply went with “KARI BAND” (“Temporary Band”).
Virtuosic technique delivered within a composed, refined sound—it’s the pinnacle: a pure, unadulterated tone achievable only by those who pursue music to the utmost.

Mikuriya Fishing PortKatsuragi Ryū

Ryu Katsuragi is an enka singer from Daisen Town in Saihaku District who debuted as a singer in 1993.
He also has a background as an active professional boxer.
He serves as a hometown ambassador for Tottori Prefecture.
Gorimiyako Fishing Port is Ryu Katsuragi’s third single, released in 2010.
NEW LIFEWakabayashi Naomi

Naomi Wakabayashi, who is a certified nutritionist and is active not only as a voice actress but also on stage, is from Tottori Prefecture.
Her anime roles include Sheska in Fullmetal Alchemist and Yuji Date in Hajime no Ippo: New Challenger.
She’s especially well known for playing Ritsuko Akizuki in THE IDOLM@STER, commonly referred to as “Imas.” Because the character wears glasses, Wakabayashi herself started wearing them regularly, and she single‑mindedly raised her Producer Rank in Imas—making her practically one with the role.
Her bright, lively singing voice is pleasant to listen to, and her meticulous live-performance style—faithfully recreating the braids and glasses—has earned her the nickname “Wakabayashi-kami” (Wakabayashi the God).
