Including cute and fun movements is also recommended.
For example, spinning your body around, swaying your hips from side to side, or striking a hero-like pose.
All of these give a pop impression, so you’ll find your energy rising as you dance.
And when it comes to “Mela!”, the sampled handclap melody is a signature feature, right? Clapping along with it also sounds fun.
That way, the audience can get excited together with you.
Everyone can start dancing right away! ‘Mela!’ Elementary School Version

Some of you may not have much time to practice but still want to perform a coordinated dance together.
In that case, I’d like to suggest the idea of building it from simple movements.
For example: box steps, side steps, raising and lowering the hands, or alternately folding your arms.
With this approach, even people who aren’t confident in moving their bodies or who have no dance experience should be able to pick it up quickly.
You could also incorporate fun actions like clapping along.

♪ Original Song – Wakatake Kindergarten | Kawasaki City | Takatsu Ward | Nakahara Ward – Wakatake Kindergarten | Kawasaki City | Takatsu Ward | Nakahara Ward
This is a Mera dance performed by kindergarten teachers, and it was created as the theme dance for an overnight childcare event.
The pattern repeats: a lively jump, clapping overhead, and then spinning the hands, so it’s easy for anyone to learn and dance.
The lively jump part is especially fun to do and is sure to get everyone excited.
Overnight childcare can sometimes make kids feel a bit anxious, but with a theme dance like this, everyone can enjoy it together and get through it happily.
Feel free to use it as a reference for exercise dances as well.
In conclusion
How was the choreography for the Mela dance? Since many of the routines are designed for school sports days, they’re simple, but when everyone dances together it can really have an impact.
If you dance with props like flags or pompoms, it will look even more vibrant!
