It’s Morning Musume’s classic “Love Machine,” and while it has a somewhat lighter, idol-pop vibe compared to the other two solo songs, the arrangement firmly layers on a heavy metal weight.

If you start listening with the image of a straight idol song in mind, the performance will absolutely floor you.

If I remember correctly, the venue holds about 15,000 people, so if BABYMETAL can draw that crowd on their own, it’s truly astounding and I can say they’re an artist that represents Japan.
