Onedari DaisakusenBABYMETAL

It’s a song with a slightly different vibe for BABYMETAL, starting with an unusual performance that seems to feature rare traditional Japanese instruments and festival-like chants.
However, once the song kicks in, you can enjoy their unmistakable, uniquely theirs sound.
In a way, it’s a highly recommended track.

Lost Item -Otoshimono-SU-METAL

At age 12, SU-METAL actually appeared on the British audition show “Britain’s Got Talent,” which became a huge topic in Japan as well.
The song she performed then was miwa’s classic “Otoshimono.” At first, with her school uniform and speaking only Japanese, people wondered if she was aiming to be a quirky Japanese novelty act.
But with just one song—only the first verse at that—she had the judges and the entire venue on their feet in a standing ovation.
It was truly moving.
Even at that time, her singing style was already fully formed.
It’s a hidden gem that’s a must-listen, even if you’re not a BABYMETAL fan.
Kon! Kon! feat. BloodywoodBABYMETAL

This is a powerful collaborative track by two cross-border acts: Japan’s BABYMETAL and Indian metal band Bloodywood.
It’s an overwhelming fusion of BABYMETAL’s signature catchiness with a heavy sound infused with Indian folk music.
The lyrics—rapidly weaving through Japanese, English, and Hindi—embody their determination to break down cultural barriers and move forward together into the future.
This track will be included on the album “METAL FORTH,” slated for release in August 2025.
The feverish energy born from this intercultural chemistry may very well give you goosebumps.
Breaking The LawBABYMETAL

One of the songs from the Rob Halford and BABYMETAL session—performed on the same stage as the previously mentioned “Painkiller”—where you can fully enjoy BABYMETAL’s instrumental prowess and performance.
As it’s a cover of a bona fide classic among classics, it drew a great deal of attention, but the three members, who are also idol-metal performers, blended in seamlessly.
Some critics say it’s a track that borrows Rob Halford’s cachet, but it may also go down in history as a performance that added an unprecedented level of cute charm to Rob Halford’s legacy.
CRAZY LOVE !BABYMETAL

It’s a digest version of live footage, but it captures their appeal really well.
There’s an innocent vibe in their expressions and performance, yet it’s amazing that they can still achieve such outstanding results.
I think you should start by watching this video—and from there, become a fan.
We’re looking up at the same sky -Onaji sora wo miageteru-SU-METAL

Regarding BABYMETAL’s legendary breakthrough overseas, many fans (the “Kami” of the community) and Japanese entertainment experts alike point to SU-METAL’s vocal ability as the driving force.
Back in 2010, SU-METAL was active mainly with Sakura Gakuin as an idol.
Even then, there remains “truly precious footage” from terrestrial TV programs where she was highlighted as a next-generation idol—a “child idol” that current singers regard with respect.
She passionately performed “Onaji Sora o Miageteru,” a song whose expressive demands are difficult even for adults.
From that time on, she was already a singer who could move people.
Her presence was on a completely different level.
Uki Uki ★ MidnightBABYMETAL

A song that pairs with the previously introduced track “Do・Ki・Do・Ki☆Morning – Doki Doki☆Morning.” From the performance alone, you might be tempted to think it’s just idol pop, but the way it meshes with the heavy sound—especially in the intro—is irresistible.
The hefty melodies that could rival those of a male metal band, delivered with solid, stable vocal technique yet in an idol voice, make you feel, “This doesn’t fit neatly into categories like plain metal, pop, or idol songs—it has a different kind of appeal.” It’s a track with very strong overseas popularity.
Perhaps it deserves to be more loved in Japan, too.
