At the time, they performed “Koishikute,” which later became their debut single, and received rave reviews.“Nada Sousou,” sung by fellow Okinawan artist Rimi Natsukawa, was composed by BEGIN.

BEGIN is a three-piece acoustic band formed by childhood friends from Ishigaki Island, Okinawa, whose songs overflowing with hometown pride have been loved for many years.

Their track “Ojī Jiman no Orion Beer,” used as the theme song for the Orion The Draft TV commercial commemorating the 50th anniversary of Okinawa’s reversion to Japan, “Living with Dreams,” is included on the concept album Begin no Shimauta ~Omoto Takeo 2~.
