What will come out? Paper Cup Theater

A thrilling paper cup theater that celebrates a birthday by featuring three actions—“fly,” “run,” and “inflate”! Each paper cup has its own moving mechanism.
Stack two cups and let go to make them jump like a rocket, release your hand and they start running on their own, or add air and they puff up to make an entrance.
Each one shows off its specialty to delight the birthday child.
Attach any illustrations you like to the cups and perform.
The mechanisms are classic, so they’re easy to make!
Fun to guess! Envelope Theater

This is an envelope theater you can use for birthday parties and fun gatherings.
If you put in pictures of vegetables and other items, or illustrations for various events, it also works great as a fun introduction to those occasions.
After cutting the plastic sheet (shrink plastic), trim the envelope to match its size and turn it into a window.
Apply double-sided tape everywhere except the top.
Cut the construction paper to stick alongside the plastic sheet, add double-sided tape, and attach it from the bottom up in order.
For the left and right sides, attach tape only on the front surface.
Peel off the double-sided tape and stick it onto the envelope window.
Insert thick paper or similar to add strength.
Add a handle and decorate it however you like! It’s recommended because it can be used in many different situations.
A fun magic trick of guessing fruit

Let’s enjoy a quiz using two illustrated panels.
Shuffle the panels so the illustrations can’t be seen, then ask the children, “Which one is the ◯◯?” and have them answer.
Start by shuffling once or twice, and gradually increase the number of shuffles.
The fun twist in this idea is that it ends like a magic trick! Even though the panels were supposed to show an orange and an apple, before you know it, they both turn into oranges.
The secret is that you’re performing it by layering the apple illustration on top of the orange!

Fun to search! Transforming Game

This is a game where you compare teachers before and after they transform and find the differences.
The classic spot-the-difference is done by comparing illustrations, but since the teachers can’t duplicate themselves, you’ll need to remember their pre-transformation appearance carefully.
Changes range from easy ones—like holding a toy or a piece of fruit—to trickier ones, such as a different T-shirt color or accessories.
Be sure to include a variety of change patterns and encourage the children to aim for a perfect score!
line dance

How about covering a segment from the popular children’s show “Ponkickies,” which aired on Fuji TV? Everyone will surely be captivated by the beautifully synchronized performance.
A slightly retro song selection would be great, too!
Super Mario

When it comes to nationally beloved games, Super Mario Bros.
immediately comes to mind.
Because it’s a game widely recognized by both children and adults, it could be a great idea for livening up a birthday celebration.
For example, how about performing a dance inspired by the world of Super Mario? If you prepare Mario costumes—and familiar props like Goombas and warp pipes—everyone can join in and get a taste of Mario’s world.
You could also incorporate arrangements in the choreography that highlight the birthday honoree!
Birthday Magic

This magic trick not only reveals the card the spectator chose, but also displays their birthday date in order along with a celebratory message.
Just when they think the revealed card is different from their selection, you count through the number shown and their chosen card appears.
On top of that, the cards up to that number secretly contain the birthday date and a message—so the surprises hit in three stages.
Prepare a set consisting of message cards, date cards, and the number cards needed to bring them into play, then position the spectator’s chosen card accordingly.
Keep the setup at the bottom of the deck and perform a false shuffle so it doesn’t move.
Have a card selected and smoothly place it on top of the stack without tipping off the audience to what you’re doing.
