You’ll surely be drawn in by the high level of musicality and the powerful, skillful vocals.

Wilber Pan, a Taiwanese singer from the United States, has popularized a variety of tracks based on a vocal style that blends Chinese and English rap.

Known for his collaborations, he teamed up with Chinese singer Xueni (Shen’s) and scored a hit with a song released in 2005.

It’s a cover—the original is “Y (Please Tell Me Why)” by the Korean hip-hop group Free Style.

This mid-tempo track features a wistful acoustic sound, and the lyrics, which express how much the singer needs the other person—so much that it feels like they must love them—carry a subtle sense of sadness.

With its familiar, catchy melody, it also seems perfect for karaoke!

Forever LoveŌ Rikō

A Chinese American from the United States, she is a multi-talented performer based in Taiwan.

In addition to English, she also speaks Chinese and Japanese.

Gifted from a young age, she debuted at the age of 19.

This song showcases her refined looks, slightly husky and sexy vocals, and unmistakable skill.

Thank you for having been here.Ayo97 & A Han

A fantasy-tinged track released in February 2019.

While it falls into the heartbreak-song category, it isn’t straightforward—its lyrics are abstract, full of phrasing that’s a bit removed from reality.

You can kind of sense that from the cover art, right? Is the original motif Assassin’s Creed, perhaps? It’s a ballad leaning toward rap, and I think that makes it approachable for Japanese listeners.

Cyndi Wang, whose 2022 revival hit “Ai Ni” has been a hot topic, is also known for her signature song “Honey,” the title track from her 2005 album of the same name, which sold over one million copies across Asia.

With its sweet, nostalgic sound and adorable choreography, the song overflows with cuteness.

It was apparently popular on Niconico in Japan at the time.

The catchy, charming chorus is so easy to hum along to, making it a great recommendation for idol fans and anyone who wants to listen to cute C-pop!
