Let’s cover a classic as well.

Even people who aren’t familiar with card games have probably at least heard the name.

Since many have played it before, it’s easy to start on a whim—that’s an advantage.

Because it comes up so often, it won’t hurt to learn the rules now, even if you’ve never played it or don’t know it well.

Dobble

Dobble

This is the card game Dobble, which isn’t very well-known.

The design is unique, so at first glance it’s hard to tell what the box is.

The rules are quite simple: you just call out the names of the pictures on the cards and get rid of your cards.

It’s a game you can play purely with your reflexes, and it’s fun for everyone from adults to kids—highly recommended!

If you receive six cucumbers, you lose: “Five Cucumbers”

The name and the items used are a bit surreal: “Five Cucumbers.” There’s a trump card game called Cucumber in various countries, and this game was apparently created as a variation of it.

It differs from typical card games in many ways, so it’s recommended even for people who are used to a variety of games.

Doderido

Doderido

This game uses cards featuring five types of animals in five colors.

The rule is simple: the first player to get rid of all their cards wins.

However, you must always create three draw piles on the table, and each time you play a card, you must correctly announce details that match the card’s appearance, such as the animal’s name or the color.

Fully cooperative game ‘Hanabi’

Launch a big firework with cooperative play – “Hanabi” review
Fully cooperative game 'Hanabi'

Unlike competing or outsmarting others, this requires everyone’s cooperation.

Players can only see other people’s hands.

By giving each other hints about the cards they hold, you’ll succeed if you manage to launch more fireworks in the end.

The culprit keeps changing (maybe): “The Culprit is Dancing.”

The game begins where the incident takes place.

The player with the Detective card must figure out who the culprit is, while the player with the Culprit card must avoid being found out by the detective until the end.

However, due to the effects of special cards, the Culprit card can be transferred to another player.

It’s truly a mystery game where the culprit “dances,” offering a fresh, unique experience.
