The culprit dances

This card game is about guessing who holds the culprit card.
Using the cards dealt to you and the instructions written on them, everyone makes deductions to identify the culprit—or if someone holding the culprit card escapes without being discovered, they win.
The person who has the culprit card isn’t necessarily the culprit until the end; like Old Maid with playing cards, the culprit can change when cards are exchanged.
Nanjamonja

In this game, players take turns flipping over cards featuring various peculiar characters and giving each one a name.
If a character that has already appeared comes up again, players must shout its assigned name.
The first person to call out the correct name wins the card, and the player with the most cards at the end wins.
It’s a fun game that tests both your naming creativity and your memory.
The “Haa” game

Was the “haa” he said an angry “haa,” a feigned-ignorance “haa,” or a surprised “haa”? This is a card game where players act out given prompts using only their voice and facial expressions, and try to guess each other’s intentions.
It’s not just about relying on the cards—you also build communication and test your acting skills—so it seems like a great game to break the ice even with people you’re meeting for the first time.
Cat & Chocolate

This is a game where you think up ways to use items to get out of various scrapes.
Rather than winning or losing, it’s the exchange of ideas that makes it fun.
First, split into the Chocolate Team and the Cat Team, flip over an event card that describes an accident, and use the item cards you have to face that accident.
Dobble

Dobble is a card game released in France in 2009, and it has become a big hit in the United States as well.
It’s played with 55 cards, each featuring 8 symbols chosen from a pool of over 50.
Every card shares exactly one symbol with any other card, and the game progresses as players race to find the matching symbol.
It’s fun for both children and adults.
Cockroach Poker

Do you know the game Cockroach Poker? First, you deal out cards showing five types of pests—stink bugs, mice, frogs, spiders, and cockroaches.
You then pass a card face down to someone and say, “It’s a [pest name].” The person who receives it has to decide whether that’s true or a lie; if they guess wrong, the card stays with them.
You lose if you end up with all five types or four of the same kind.
Saboteur

It’s a card game called Saboteur, where players are divided into gold miners and those trying to stop them.
Starting from the start card toward face-down gold cards, players play path cards to dig and connect routes, but no one knows who the miners or saboteurs are except themselves.
If the players manage to reach the gold, the miners win; if it turns out to be just a rock, the game continues; and if players run out of cards before reaching the gold, the saboteurs win.
