kotoro-kotoro (onomatopoeic; a light rattling/rolling sound)NEW!

Kotorokodoro is a traditional game where children lined up in a row run from the “oni” (tagger).

One team consists of one oni and four children, so if there are many participants, make several teams to play.

The children line up in a single file, and the person at the front crosses both hands over their chest.

The three behind place their hands on the shoulders of the person in front.

In this game, if the child at the very end is tagged by the oni, they lose.

So when the oni facing them starts to move, the team should move to protect the last child.

If they protect the last child without being tagged within the time limit, the children win; if the oni tags them, the oni wins.

Since you’ll be watching the shadows as you run, be very careful to avoid collisions.
