Using paper, you can create all sorts of things and complete your own original story.
Since it only requires paper and a pen, invite animals you don’t normally get to see—like gorillas, bears, and rabbits—to your children’s group, and spark the kids’ curiosity!

Quiz tournament
When it comes to classic entertainment, a quiz competition is a go-to.
Quizzes can be freely tailored to the participants and the time available, making them easy for organizers to prepare and highly satisfying for attendees.
Especially at children’s events, kids are sure to give their all answering questions! To keep them from getting bored, it’s best to prepare questions from a variety of categories.
It’s also a good idea to make it a team competition to minimize age differences.
And of course, prepare prizes so you can reward the kids who get lots of answers right!
Who am I? Quiz
A “Who am I?” quiz that gives hints little by little sounds like something everyone—from younger kids to upper grades—can enjoy together.
For example: Hint 1: I am found all around the world.
Hint 2: I am a very large creature.
Hint 3: I live in the ocean.
Got it? The answer is a whale.
You could also split the grades into two groups or sort players by level.
Offering a prize for the winner would make it even more exciting—just don’t forget participation prizes for everyone!
Silhouette Quiz
Silhouette quizzes are a fun way for children to develop their imagination and creativity.
By using familiar, everyday objects as prompts, you can spark their interest and curiosity.
There are many ways to enjoy them, such as drawing illustrations with paper and pens or projecting real objects onto a screen.
Using simple shapes like circles and triangles as silhouettes can really broaden children’s ideas and make the activity even more exciting.

When it comes to rhythm games, famous ones include “Rhythm 4 Game” and “Magical Banana,” but this is a simple game that even young children can join.
When someone says “Santa’s beard,” stroke an imaginary beard and say “Ho, ho, ho.” Next, when someone says “Santa’s sleigh,” pretend to jingle bells and say “Jingle, jingle, jingle.” Do this in time with the rhythm without making mistakes.
You can make it more challenging by speeding up the tempo partway through.
Try changing the words to match the season and have fun with it.
Clapping Fantasy
Let me introduce a lively performance that uses your own hands: Clapping Fantasy, which is also featured in elementary school music textbooks.
You’ll clap along to the instruments.
Try getting everyone to clap in unison, or split into clapping and non-clapping parts for variety.

It’s also fun to play the tambourine while doing a wave—sitting or standing in a line one after another.
If all the children perform with smiles, a cheerful atmosphere will fill the venue.

Having someone on drums as well would make it even more exciting.
Instrumental ensemble
If your whole class wants to put on a presentation together, how about trying an instrumental ensemble? Those of you in the upper grades have probably done it a few times already, but since this is a special opportunity, try picking a slightly more challenging piece from among your favorite songs.
Of course, the practice will be tough, but the thrill when the music comes together beautifully is truly amazing, and working as a group on a single piece will become a wonderful memory.
It won’t succeed without unity, so I think it will also be a great chance to improve communication.
